I have been having a db sign-in problem here.  I set up my account here 7 years ago.  If I use my Adobe ID (not my e-mail address) to log in, then all is fine. But sometimes the forum kicks me over to a sign-in page that requires me to use my e-mail address.  It's the same account and same password, but then the forum system  asks me for a screenname - which (as you can see) I already have.  And if I tell the system I want this screenname - Igor9 - I get an error response that that name is already in use.  (Which it is -- It's in use by me.)IOW, it seems like Adobe here has some weird db setup and some fields can't associate with some other fields.  Again, I am talking about one adobe forum account.  If I sign-in with my Adobe ID, all is good.  But if the sign-in page requires me to sign-in with my e-mail account, my screenname is somehow missing.

I have a question please,and I appreciate very much If you can help me.Inside Edit forum profile---privacy settings, I have my name and e-mail set at:  Yourself...  Is  that means, my e-mail is going to be private... am I correct ?But when I am Logged-In, and  I move my mouse over my profile I do see my e-mail, is that because I am Logged-in. And inside privacy setting, when I preview it in the right hand side I do see the e-mail.Thanks

Hi,I'm having problems to install my CC apps, since I`m having the issue on the apps keep asking for a serial number.I already tried all the solutions that I found on  the foruns: delete cache, install using English International as my preferences on Adobe Manager App, etc etcThat is only happening on my PC with Windows 7. On My Macbook Pro everything is working fine.Well, today I tried the Chat option from  Adobe Customer service, and after I spend a long time with them, they just dropped the connections when they doint have anyother solution for me.It waa bad experience from Adobe.At least I still have some time to cancell my CC signature If I dont get this solved on the next days.

Hi I'm a third year graphic design student.  I started with 5.5. I've been waiting for the next version after cs6 since I have 1 more year to finish school but it seems like that's not gonna happen. However, I can't afford monthly subscription for cloud, also it will be more expensive than buying the programs as a student. So, how do you think? Is it better to buy cs6 now for the future? I know for a fact I have repatedly told Adobe to stop harassing me with promos, news, sales, etc.  Adobe engages in the practice of assuming that communication with them and/or the download of their trial software constitutes re-acceptance to being added to more solicitation emails.I have constantly updated my communication preferences to tell Adobe to stop bothering me, and given them the luxury of 3 weeks time (over and over) to have them desist from sending more spam, but still, they continue to send it.  So what's the step needed to actually get them to remove me from digitized harassment?On a side note, businesses that feel that they should add an email contact to solicitations automatically without expressed consent of the other party is one of the most disrespectful practices I've seen.

Can someone explain to me why it costs so much more to purchase Creative Cloud if I live in the United Kingdom compared to somwhere else. There should be no difference, it's a digital download! (no shipping)If I bought the complete package it costs £46.88 per month in the UK.If I bought the complete package in the US it costs $49.99 bearing in mind that the current exchange rate is $1.5 to the £1 and therefore if exchange rates were used it should cost £33.20 in UK sterling, that's a price hike of approximately 30%If i bought the complete package in Australia it costs $49.99 bearing in mind the exchange rate is $1.5 to the AUS$1.56 and therefore if exchange rates were used it should cost £31.99 in UK sterling, that's a price hike of 32%it's simlilar if you bought it in Japan and many other countries. So please Adobe can you explain to me why this is so, I'm a bit puzzled. Also if I paid in US dollars would I recieve the product for the US Dollar price?

Adobe has already demonstrated in Australia that pricing can go up and down as it sees fit ...always to the detriment of customersA lot of the world is still in an economical downturn ...$600 per year is not a saving...it is a considerable increase for many$600 per year will quickly move to $1000.... (I have just noticed in my country I can only get the team version???)Once adobe determines which programs are popular an additional cost tier will be introduced to pay for that productonce you move over to a subscription based service you are addicted... if you give up subscription you can no longer edit projects ....if you own a version ...you can always go back to a project without activation issues...As for not providing updates and bug fixes that is just unconscionable Adobes thinking here is that of a monopoly.... it will start forcing the independent

OK, lots of noise about CC (including from me - not happy!) but I am not seeing anybody making arguments in favour of it. No idea what those arguments would be (unless I were an Adobe executive of course), so I thought I'd start a thread so anybody who wants to express support for Adobe's move can do so......anyone?

Insert Image in Chrome brings up a completely black dialog with no visible controls:(Most recent Chrome, version 26.0.1410.64 m on Windows 7 64.)Wish I knew which browser Jive/Adobe is testing with, so I could just use that and not worry.  I had switched to Chrome when IE broke, but it looks IE is now working again.

Been a loyal Adobe user in both the workplace and individually since Pagemaker, Illustrator 88, and PS 1. I will not participate in any cloud-based subscription service. There are alternatives. Some are great alternatives and some are just okay. Pixelmator and Acorn are two prominant examples. Coda is a great web design app as is BBEdit. And with so many unhappy users in the marketplace there will be more. Even if they don't have all the bells and whistles, the truth is I don't NEED all the bells and whistles. I need reliable software that will run anywhere and can be updated when and if I want to. Thanks for all the good years, Adobe, but the cloud is not for everyone; it is absolutely not for me.

You've had a major problem with the forum software not for hours, not for days, but for more than a week.  Multiple failures with Internet Explorer.Has it occurred to you to revert the forum software back to the version that was working prior to whatever "fix" caused these problems with return keys and inability to post?That wouldn't preclude your continuing to test a fix offline before rolling it out, but it would keep your customers AND expert helpers from having to deal with this abomination.-Noel

Hi all,i'm new here, so I don't know if this is the right tread for these kind of questions.Well lets get to the point then,about a day or 2 back my macbook broke down due to some water that fell on it.I had a CS6 master collection for my education on there.So I saved what I could from my harddrive, and since I didn't have money I had to buy myself a cheap windows laptop.I installed cs 6 mastercollection pack again, but I can't use my serial that i bought?is there anyway to change that, or buy myself a cheap platform changing package from adobe?I still need the cs6 collection that i bought for the rest of the school year, and part of the new schoolyear aswell..I'm sorry if my English isn't very good, i'm Dutch so it's not my native language.Thanks in advance!

Hi,     I installed my CS4 and I keep getting this error when I tried to start an application.  I get, "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."  I have tried reinstalling it and it still didn't work.     I have a windows xp.  Any suggestions?

I am SOOOOOO sick of this issue.  I have posted asking for help, advice and etc... in many different sites including THIS ONE, and no one seems to know how to fix this. For about the last month or so, I have had a problem with my adobe flash, or shockwave flash or what ever the hell you want to call it. I say this last part because I have been told they are the same, and I have been told they are different. Here is a screen shot of the damn pop up box I keep getting, it also shows how I am also often told that I need to install adobe flash to view something even though I DO have it installed already.The issue: It seems like every couple of mins at times, my browser will freeze, then after a few seconds to mins, I get the above shown pop up box about my unresponsive plugin. Usually when I click the continue button, after a few mins the page continues to work. This usually only lasts a few mins before it freezes again and I get the pop up box AGAIN. can i use adobe cloud on more than 1 computer?

I've purchased the upgrade to CS6 Production Premium, but if I'm reading the "read me" which I must accept, this is a license for one year only? Is this correct? That's not what's advertised.  Also, do I need the Provisioning Toolkit for the software to function.  I can't decipher what this actually does.  After spending a pointless half hour on Adobe Help chat, and being disconnected on the phone support, well, you get the picture.Thanks anyone for your help!

Test adobe SVG Viewer 3 in windows 7

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get this resolved.I tried to log on to the forums using my regular Adobe ID, and was gretted with the helpful message "It appears your account has been disabled. You might contact your administrator if you think this is a mistake." As this offers no means of contacting an administrator (unless I'm missing a link somewhere), it left me a bit stuck. I've registered using a secondary email address, but I'd prefer to have my main one reactivated to avoid keeping tack of which ID I'm logged in with.

I have chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 m and when I try to sign into this forum (forums.adobe.com), the sign in button won't do anything. I have to resort to IE just to post this.

For instance, I have an issue with Illustrator. Am working on a large site for my students to access. I'd like to set up a site map of sorts that allows them to view their progress in the course by hovering over the circles to see where they've been and where they're going. I'd like each of the buttons (circles) to be able to activate a text box with text related to that position in the map. Also I'd like the circles to highlight a specific color related to each chapter.Is this something flash can do for me, or do I need some other scripting tool? Saw nothing related to this in the forums or in other searches. Any information on this is greatly appreciated. Also, each of the fifteen circles in the first column would require a unique color, while the circles in columns 2 and 3 would be the same as the highlighted one in the first column. Tall order... most likely.

i just upgraded to os 10.8.3.  i'm still using cs3.  photoshop works fine but i just tried to print something in indesign for the first time and it crashes every time i do command p to print.  what can i do to make it work?
