Since I started the Zeno Bokor is not a good Host. thread that is now locked and has worked its way off the front page of the Forum forum, I keep getting Reported Abuse emails. No one has the time to fix this mess but they have plenty of time to send out these stupid emails even after a couple of months has gone by. Maybe we need to start reporting abuse on random posts though out the forum. Does anyone with any kind of privileges read this totally messed up craptacular forum?HAVE YOU NOTICED THE RECENT INFLUX OF WRONG POSTS IN THIS FORUM?Think it's about time to fix something here?And yes I know, they never read these posts and yes it's already been posted. I can not believe the pain I am going though to upgrade from 8 to 9.  The serial number does not work and tech support keeps asking me to do the same thing over and over again.  DOWN THE TRIAL VERSION and it should work... you need to TALK to Customer Service  around and aound I go...  I am on phone call number 4 averaging about 2 hours per call.  Any suggestions on how I can resolve this...I am back on hold and starting all overonce again...... Does anyone have a phone number or contract info that can help solve what I think is a very simple problem????

Good Afternoon All,Recently upgraded to OS 10.5.6 in order to upgrade our CS3 to CS4.I've tried 3 times to install CS4.I get to the point where I type in the Serial number. I get a check (correct SN) and then the installer dissapears from my screen and winks out of the Dock. No warning. No Prompts. Nothing. Getting very frustrated. I have minimum system requirements. Running G5 2GB - 104 Free GB on HD.Any help is appreciated.Thanks.Gene

Hi, I am new to Dreamweaver and this forum.  I am trying to update info on a website.  The document was updated yet the only version I can get onto the website is the old version.  How do I get the new version on the website.  I am using CS3 Version 9.

I've been using Safari 4.0.2 (Mac OS X) to reply to messages in the Acrobat and InDesign forums. Suddenly, two days ago, I've lost that ability. (I can still reply in Firefox 3.5.1, so I can post this here.When I click Reply in Safari, the Post Reply screen appears, and everything is selectable EXCEPT the field for the reply is a small unselectable rectangle. It doesn't show the options for setting font, style, or any of that, and there is no way to type into the field.I have done nothing to my configuration in the past couple days. Was there a change in Forum Software versions a couple days ago that might have caused this? Any suggestions?

I link to a Flash Video on my index.html page which plays fine when tested but won't show up after it's uploaded with the two .swf files.  Any thoughts?

I've just noticed not many questions being marked 'answered' in the ID forum so I counted - only 8 out of the first 60. Not sure if a similar situation applies in other forums (I'm not quite sad enough to count them all), but I just wonder if people don't understand the system, don't like it, or aren't getting decent answers.Anyone notice anything similar?

I have recently purchased a Toshiba mini-laptop which has a screen resolution of 1024x600. The minimum resolution for CS3 (which I purchased a while ago and have on my desktop) is 1024x768.  When I try to install it on my laptop, the installation stops since the minimum resolution is inadequate (i guess for Photoshop and the other graphic programs included in CS). I onlly want to install Dreamweaver.  Please advise. Thanks.

Hi allAm new to this forum so I hope I'm posting correctly.I have designed a website for my local choir and it seems to work pretty well, however I decided to create a "submit" form for the website for ease of enquiries.  Subsequently I thought I should use some form of verification code to ensure that users completing the form are genuine.I found some coding and inserted it, but don't believe I've done it correctly and would really appreciate some help.Is there anyone there who would be prepared to look at my webpage and give some advice at all? Hello, I am a big user of adobe 6 professional for years.  It was great for marking up maps.  I just upgraded adobe 9 professional and I am having a big issue when drawing on maps.  In version 6 you could draw lines on top of each other and very close just click click click and more lines anywhere I needed. With version 9 I am not able to draw a line and then draw one really close to it or on the end of it or on top it without the arrow or crosshairs selecting the original line.....  I can not draw lines end to end and connect them....  not being able to freely draw lines makes using this software difficult and even useless....  need to be able to draw freely to properly prepare the maps.  I need to be able to draw lines of different color and width close to each other of even on top of each other and end to end to create the designs I am making.Very dissappointed I upgraded...Any advice on what I might be doing wrong would really help me and basicall

So, I clicked on 'last post' on some topic in here, and found myself logged out. Having only logged in about 5 minutes earlier. Hey ho. But that's not all, I was staring at a screen that told me I was in a forum called 'Blueprint'. Never heard of that before.Anyway, I clicked Log In/Register and without being taken to the log-in screen or doing anything else, I was logged back in. But I was still in the Blueprint forum.No wonder lost souls turn up.

Is there a way to float or write text over a header or banner image dynamically? For example, If I click on a link in my menu, can I have the title of my page automatically inserted into or over my header image automatically for every page in my site? Because currently I have to create a new Image for every page where I have to add the page name to the photo and then save it with text "stuck" on that photo. Hope this makes sense.Thanks,Allan

I accidently started drawing on 'background' layer in photoshop (I usually make a second layer), during which I was able to erase lines without erasing the white background, but I accidently changed it to 'layer 0' and when I erased my lines, I would erase the white background as well. Is there a way to change the layer 0 back to 'backgrund layer' or somehow take the lines I drew and move them to another layer?help would be appreciated, thanks

I am new to DreamWeaver and would like some help after importing an existing (FrontPage) site into DW.  Almost all links are broken and when I try to fix them, I cannot find the original file to point them towards.

I am new to web page design and Dreamweaver so my question might seem a bit simplistic. My problem is with the new web pages I have designed. Specifically with how they load. I have to sit and watch as each element is essentially built into the page whenever I go to a new page. Is there a command that will leave the browser on the current page until the new page is completely ready to display? Thanks for your help
