How much experience do you have of participating in the REAL Adobe Forums; or using the PROFESSIONAL GRAPPHIC ARTS ADOBE Applications which are covered in those places; and how experience and knowledge do you have of the ancilliary professions of Printing and Professional Photography?

That is why the whole ACE concept is both ridiculous and misleading to the public you are not really "Experts" in very much are you?

Ann, you have no idea what you are talking about, nor do they.

I, as have numerous other members of the Adobe Forums, have contributed to Forum discussions and completed Surveys and, until now, have always discussed the issues in extremely polite and respectful tones.

And the result?

Our views and requests have been totally discounted or ignored and a bunch of MM johnny-come-latelies (with neither taste nor any seeming ability to design a functional Forum) have been allowed to trample the formerly excellent Forums into the ground.

Why waste our time with your "Surveys" when you have no intention of paying a blind bit of attention to our responses?

I think people have every reason to be angry. VERY angry.

I believe you've misread Gunters' post. He's referring to YOU and the way you constantly speak on 'behalf of the whole Adobe Forum'. It was your last post where you spoke for 'yourself'.

Typical of someone who only has one mindset and is closed to anything anyone else has to say.

I trust that when they do, what they have to say will be couched in terms which will encourage the decision makers to take notice.

I think it very important that an effective dialog is pursued at this decisive time, and that participants in the discussion don't machine gun themselves in the foot by intemperate posting, including name calling and derision of those whose views they oppose. Considered, cogent, wise and balanced contributions are far more likely to get taken into account than any which might get dismissed as angry reactionism to change.

I really do hope your views are carefully considered, Ann, but there's a considerable risk as things stand that they will get dismissed out of hand. "Don't get mad, get heard" to amend the familiar saying somewhat.

I suspect that some of the group to whom you refer "virtually everyone who uses the Adobe Forums" may be along shortly to give their opinions of the whole "ACE concept" and the self-satisfied self-important holders of said vacuous "Title" for themselves.

Actually , some of them already have!
