Why, after an upgrade, do my recent projects fail to display in Classic 2019? I have to reload each one using the .xpj file.  Is there a setting that needs set that will avoid this happening in the future?  I hate upgrading!

I have a pdf file which I would like to link inside an html file. When I generate a pdf output, the link to a pdf should open the PDF.  The PDF file is not on any ftp drive or internet. This file will be inside the same folder as the other pdf.

I'm trying to generate Printed Documentation.  When I do so, .docx is not listed in the "Generate Word DOC" drop list.  When I do select .Doc, I get this message "The version of Microsoft® Word you are using has some known limitations with documents that contain a large number of list items (~1500). To avoid this problem, please download the latest Office 2000 service release (SR-2 or later). For more details, please see the online Help.".I'm using Word 2010 (64-bit) on a Windows 7 (64-bit).How can I fix this?Thanks!!!

In RoboHelp 2019, in a project that's been imported from RH Classic, there are a number of TextPopups with a hyperlink pointing to:  Javascript:hhctrl.TextPopup('Popup message','Arial,8',50,50,00000000,0xc0ffff)  These require the inclusion of an object in the HTML at the start of the body:  <object border="0" classid="clsid:ADB880A6-D8FF-11CF-9377-00AA003B7A11" height="0" hspace="0" id="hhctrl" type="application/x-oleobject" vspace="0" width="0"></object>  In the RoboHelp UI, this object renders as a sort of missing flash link:...but it all looks and works OK in published CHM.Is this the correct approach for TextPopups on hyperlink, or has it been introduced from the RH Classic conversion?I can replicate the behaviour on new pages easily enough by duplicating a page or pasting the relevant HTML, but it feels as though I'm probably missing some better approach.Thanks

When I last generated  my Webhelp using RH 2019 Classic, my contents pane had the table of contents. But now when I generate, the content pane on the left side of the page is empty, even though I can still see the TOC in RH itself. I also still see the .hhc file in my src directory. This is what I see online:Any ideas why it would disappear? I did not knowingly change my TOC or generation properties.Thanks in advance! 

I've converted a Classic project to an RH2019 project, which seems to have gone off without issue. However, when I generate a Microsoft Help format output, I do not have anything in the Contents panel, nor do I have is an Index panel generated, despite having made sure to select Include Index in the Content section of the output preset. Any suggestions on what I should be looking for to resolve this? I got this ehlpdhtm.js script error in opening the chm file in Robohelp 2019 classic after updating to ((14.0.13.0).When i rolled back my Robohelp version to 14 (from installer). I dont see the error.Can someone plesae advice?

I work on a Robohelp 11 project that is located on a windows 7 machine. My company's IT department is mandating I move my project along with the Robohelp 11 software to a new Windows 10 supported machine. How do I get the Robohelp 11 software and Project transferred to the new Windows 10 machine? I do not have the Robohelp 11 software install nor I know where the license is. This Robohelp 11 project and the windows 7 machine it runs on, was setup over 10 years ago and the folks that set it no longer work at my company. Has anyone out there had a similar experience that can offer some advice? Thanks for your help!

Upgraded a project from RoboHelp 2017 to RoboHelp 2019.12 New. After the 2019 Classic to 2019 New step in the upgrade process, I lost the multilevel list formatting in my topics. BEFORE:1. I want to create a TOC for my responsive HTML5 output in which the TOC defaults to already being expanded.   Instead of this . . .                        . . . we want this to be the default.                                   Can this be done?   Thank you!

I have tried to search the forum, and I find posts about multilevel lists, but I could not see anything matching my problem.   I am using a multilevel list in RH 2019 (new design), and when I go from the second to the first level there is an empty line (parapgraph) added between the levels (see screenshot). I am not able to remove it by deleting it in a normal way. Anyone else experienced this or any ideas how to solve it?

I have many images in my project for which I must create an image map.   Some of these images have callouts that were created with the images and the callouts are just Arabic numerals and the map areas are these callouts.   Other images have map areas directly on the images - no callouts.   Each image map area links to a topic. Whatever the situation, when I preview any image with a map defined, and click the indicated area, the map is dead nuts on . . . but if I view the image in actual output in a browser, Chrome, Mozilla, etc. then large swaths of the map are shot to heck in a handbasket . . . so many of the clickable areas of the image are so far removed from the actual locations from which I defined them that it renders the image map useless.   I totally understand that the Preview mode is not a completely accurate representation of the final output, but in this case, there is no correlation at all between where I define my image maps and where they wind up in

Robohelp noob here.  I recently started learning RH2019 with a Trial version, and for my first project, I decided to go with a Dark theme. Edited the stylesheet in the following format: Headings= Teal, Theme color= Teal, Body font color= white (so that it's visible in the dark background). However, styling the body text in White poses another problem; once the style is applied, the same shows up in the "author" area too. As the Author area is already White, the text becomes invisible. Is there any workaround for this? Like, keep the text color dark in the stylesheet and somehow override it to White in Skin; OR just make the author area dark? Any help is appreciated. Update: Added a dark shading to the body style. It works for now. Still not the most ideal solution, it seems.

CLASSIC USERS - Please read whole post before applying the update.   We have published Update 13 for RoboHelp 2019. Go to Help > Updates to update your version. Here are more details about this update: https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/kb/fixed-issues.html.    UPDATE There is a problem with Update 13 that affects Classic users only. If you encounter problems with 2019 Classic following applying the update you should revert to Update 12. 1. Uninstall RoboHelp. 2. Reboot. 3. Go to https://www.adobe.com/support/robohelp/downloads.html and download Update 12. 4. Install that and you should find it is working as before.   To recap, this problem does not affect users of RoboHelp 2019 New UI. If you are using both versions and have problems with Classic, then you will need to revert to Update 12 for now.

I've recently installed RH2019 and I'm trying to self train as a new user to this product.  The quick-start tutorials (https://breezetraining.adobeconnect.com/rh2019-quickstart/) suggest that you can follow along with the exercises in the video by requesting a link to download the exercises via email. I sent a link to the GMAIL address provided early this week, and haven't heard or seen a thing. Can anybody out there point me to where I could find these? I think I'd take away a lot more if I could follow along rather than just watching the video. Thanks in advance. 

Is there a way to have the "Part TCP0667-01" shown in this Master Page footer align flush right? (The copyright should be flush left) I thought I had this resolved by making the footer a 2-cell single-row table.  Align copyright left and Part right.  It works, except that I still can't make the table bordes transparent.  I selected "table" in teh breadcrumbs and set all borders to transparent (see pic).  They still are black in the HTML5 output.

I am working with some tables where I want to copy/move some rows from one table to the other, but it seems I am not able to select more than one row at a time. Is this correct, or have I missed something? Regards,Rannveig

I am new to RoboHelp (9) and have successfully created an index by following one of the online tutorials. It occurs to me that if index words can only access target files at the topic level, their use is somewhat limited. Is it possible to, for example, index a section within a topic, such as a h1 or h2 or some bookmarked word or phrase using RH indexing feature, and if so, how would one achieve this? Thanks.

I recently got RH2019 and updated it to version 2019.0.13. I've tried to upgrade my RH2015 projects (two of them for a total of some 2000 files, some 500 .HTML topics, and a lot of supporting .docx and .pdf) and could not generate Responsive HTML output (the only output I'm interested in) in RH2019. NO broken links in the existing projects. After much reading, I generated the Broken Links report, and was dismayed at the number of them in the 2019 version. SO I moved the projects to the 2019 Classic version, NO ISSUES, NO Broken links, Responsive HTML output came out fine, even when the program reorganized my project file structure. Move that to RH2019, same problem: hundreds of broken links.After much thought, I convinced myself that I would, in the long run, benefit from reconstructing the projects file by file, that way we (myself and the other editors) could go over them and check everything for relevance and timeliness.So I started a new project by importing the company logo to use

HiI am working on RH2017 and I have come across a very weird issue. I am using SnagIt to capture images and then adding to the topics via Insert Image. I also have a style created for my images, width – 801px and height - 435px. Once I apply the style and generate a Responsive HTML output, the images get stretched.If I insert the image and do local formatting by inserting the same width and height given above and on generating an ouput the images stay intact.Is there something I am doing wrong?Does RH2017 does not render the expected output based on image styles?Is it because I am using SnagIt to capture images. Do I need to use Robohelp’s screen capture tool?

Hi RoboHelpers! I'm using the latest RH 2017 on Windows 10. For some reason, my preview window stopped working today. My usual configuration when my laptop is docked with my docking station is to have my laptop's monitor hidden (laptop is closed) and I use my two external monitors instead. Yesterday, I used RH with my laptop monitor visible and another external monitor working in a different location. I used Ctrl + W preview just fine yesterday. Today, I plugged my laptop back into the docking station. But now the preview window never appears. The busy cursor flickers like it's trying to load it, but I suspect it might be somewhere off my visible dimensions. I tried restarting RH. RoboHelp 2019 New UIIs there a way to have the title of a warning, along with its icon automatically formatted and recalled (style, variable, etc.)?For example, can I select some element in RH and automatically get the icon and "WARNING:" (red circled portion of image below) to populate so that I only have to type in the variable text each time?
