Hi,I'm using RoboHelp 10, and when I try to generate a chm file, I see the Table of Contents. But when I click on a topic, nothing shows up. I didn't get an error message when I was generating the chm file, so I don't know what the problem is. Has anyone seen this before? How can I troubleshoot?Thanks.

Hello,I am using RoboHelp 2015 to create .chm files.  We are currently upgrading to Windows 10 Anniversary 1607 upgrade.On a machine running the 1607 upgrade, on occasion when closing a .chm file we will get an error that says Microsoft HTML Help Executable has Stopped Working.Opening and closing the same file that caused the error again will not produce the error.  The error appears to be random with no pattern to duplicate it.  For example, I might open a file 10 times with no error and on the 11th try the error appears.  We have many .chm files and the error seems to happen at any time when closing a file.  It doesn't appear to affecting the file itself as it is usable and only happens when closing the file.Has anyone experienced this behavior or know how to eliminate the random error?  It has never appeared on any of our Windows 10 machines before installing the 1607 upgrade.Thank you.John

My client wants to link a very large job aid of a table of common edits (in an Excel Spreadsheet) to the manual (in RH) containing the solution.  Each Excel line item in the table would link to a spot in the manual.  In RH I have each of them flagged as bookmarks.  1.  How can I at least get the bookmarks to show up as subtopics in my table of contents in my generated and published document?2.  How can I link each line item the Excel Spreadsheet over to the bookmark in on the desired page? Right now I can only drill down as far as the page.Thanks in advance for your help.

I have generated a responsive HTML 5 output through Robohelp 11. The output is absolutely fine and responsive when I view it from the desktop. But when I am viewing the output from my mobile, only the content is appearing, none of the images and icons are appearing, it doesn't seem to be responsive. Can you guys please suggest a solution?

Hello Experts,I have a project created in robohelp11.My project has about 20 topics.  I am able to generate the project without issues in Responsive HTML5, and I can view the project in Chrome and Internet Explorer without issue.The Help content is being added to an existing android app and displayed in the devices browser, called from the app.Issue: Help opens on the android device, but the topics are not being displayed, the window is blank.  I am able to open and view without issue the TOC, index, and glossary.Side note: I generated the project as a native android app and installed it on my phone, everything worked fine, no issues at all.Please help,Jim

Hello, our team has started to see an issue with RoboHelp 2015 and updating from Microsoft Word files. When I make a change to a Word document and try to update in RoboHelp I get an error saying "Import Session Failed (0x80004005), If this error continues contact Technical Support".- We're seeing this issue on installs of RH2015 on Windows 7 and Windows 10.- The problem exists on any file I try and update, even in two separate RH projects.- Environment I'm running is Windows 10 64bit, Office 365 64bit, and RoboHelp 2015- I've updated everything in Windows and RoboHelp (running RH 12.0.4.460).Has anyone found a fix for this?

Hi,I inserted images in RoboHelp 2017 project, and set the images as Image thumbnails, everything works expect the image border.I change the image style, and apply to all the images, I can see the image border in Robohelp, but after generating to PDF or HTML5, I cannot see the image border.If I edit individual image, set the border, and generate HTML5, I can see the image border?How can I solve this problem?

Hello,it looks like RoboHelp 2015 exported Help File doesn't work with MS Edge if we use the Responsive HTML5 Layout. Same for the WebHelp export option. Even with the latest update. Can that be fixed?EDIT: It loads forever, that is the problem. The frameset is visible but it loads forever, the loading animation doesn't disappear.Thanks!

I am generating a print output from RoboHelp 10. I have some questions:1. Is there a way in RoboHelp or in Word to scale the size of all images in the document to a constant width?2. Is there a way to output a word document in 2 columns?3. How do we create hyperlinks to the keywords in index? If you visit adobe.com on macos with chrome (latest, tested with version 61 or 62) you will get redirected to "upgrade your internet explorer" page.Internet Explorer 10 no longer supported Clearly the browser identification is not working properly.2. I had hard time figuring out where should I report problems with your website. I am doing it here because I gave up searching for more appropriate place. In RoboHelp, is there a way to generate a report showing the last date modified or date published?

Hi, I am starting a trial of Robohelp. We need to generate PDF and Word output using a custom Google font, EXO.The font is installed in the machine and available to all apps but Robohelp. How can I add this font to it?Regards, François

Every now and then when we publish a RoboHelp 2015 project we get the following error message:Publishing has been cancelled.The process cannot access the file becdause it is being used by another process.We do not cancel the publishing, RoboHelp does and it is very discouraging. Why does this message happen and what can we do to stop it from happening again so that we can publish and move onto the next Help File update.Any help you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated!Thanks,Robert

Can you add custom CSS and JS to the Indigo layout Topic "content"? I have added custom CSS and JS and it applies it to the Header and Menu, but it does not change the Topic content. I want to incorporate CSS and JS to change the Topic font and customize Related Links, Parent Topics, Notes, etc. I tried changing the font only, but that only changes the Header and Menu.

We have a project that keeps getting removed from RSC.  I just made a new folder, pulled a clean copy, put a space in a topic to verify it would check out, all ok.  Rebooted my computer and attempted to open the same project and it indicates it has been removed from version control.We just upgraded to RH 2017 a few weeks back.  We added a new user. We installed the RSO3 middle tier patch to the new computer. All of us are running Windows 7 64. All of us have RH2017. 2 of us are coming in via VPN. None of these problems occurred (even with this project) prior to RH2017.Haven't tried to see what the person local to the server see's when he opens the project but that would potentially open a different issue since he has not worked on this project.If I add to version control after opening the project it goes strangely fast and then the other person is prompted with "project has been removed from version control."We are both deleting our .cpd file when the project opens (chec

HiI'm currently updating an Arabic translation of the help for one of our products using RH 2015 (patched to date) on Windows 10. I should mention that this is legacy help which started as Microsoft HTML Help. I have two issues that I haven't been able to fix.- I got the translated files and integrated them into the project, however, it seems as if any sentence (in both the new and the legacy files) that contains an English word is not correctly switched RTL. The sentence is switched correctly up to the English word and then the RTL formatting stops. The result is at best a confusing jumble and at times actually has the opposite meaning of the original sentence. Words that do not translate, such as the company name, appear in UI labels and need to appear in procedures.- The second problem is with bullets and numbering. I have yet to find a way to make the bullets and numbers appear on the right rather than the left of a line. The original method used was to create a table and confine t

HiI liked the Indigo Layout. I would like to use it. But, I would like to customize it. I have seen the Customize Selected Layout option.I am not able to see the option which can allow me to change the Layout in my own way.For example, if I want the TOC on the left side, I don't see any option.If I want to keep the desired topics below the search box, I don't see any option. I've uploaded all my content (as Word documents which I imported) and need to apply some edits. I decided to make all edits within RoboHelp, rather than doing it in the Word documents themselves, and overwriting all the files, as I thought this might be easier. However, when I imported all my Word docs, I noticed that there is a space in the formatting which I can't seem to erase.The light blue square above is a different shade of blue. When I click on the space to select it, and then hover over it, I can see that it's a "linebreaker".When I hit the delete key, the entire row (line) disappears. When I try to add it back by placing the cursor in front of the letter K, and pressing CTRL + Enter, the line appears again, but now there is a new icon there. How can I delete the Page Break icon? Or will this not appear once this content has been published to the server?
