Adobe Support states that there is a long waiting line for support responses so i am posting in the hope that someone can help me sooner.Is anyone able to direct me to a file download location for this solution?When i select to update linked word documents in a project i receive the following message: Does i t matter if the projects are on a different partition to the installed software ?

I'm wondering if any of the experts here know what might be going on.My RoboHelp 9 is no longer generating any projects.  Fortunately, I can move them to the laptop and generate there, but I'm trying to figure out what's wrong and correct it.The message is:Template Active Script Error:  Failure to initialize script.Template Error:  Cannot resolve macro: RegisterResolversFatal Error:  Cannot run macro: RegisterResolvers in compilation script.This happened after I installed a new firewall and virus protection (Comodo).  That's the obvious answer, except that it works fine on the laptop, which has exactly the same installation.The other factor is that the desktop has Office 2013 installed on it, which is overriding the installation of Office 2010, and getting in the way of importing Word documents, etc.  I'll re-install Office 2010 so it will be the default.  However, I could generate files after the 2013 installation, so that shouldn't be the cause of t

Hello,I'm using Robohelp 9 - HTML, and generating Webhelp using IE10 on Windows 7. When I generate the help, the default topic displays. However, if I click any page within a book, the right-pane displays blank. But, if I make the browser window smaller, the content displays in the right-pane. After which, maximizing the browser, the content continues to display in the right-pane, as expected. Any thoughts on why the right-pane content doesn't display initially? Thanks,

How or Can I update the image on my view of the topic icon?I wanted to change the icon that represents the topic in the TOC so I went to Project Setup and went to Skins and on the Default skin I right clicked and selected Edit.  Then I went to the Navigation tab and selected a new image for the Topic/Page.  When I compile I see the new image for the topics, but in Project Manager I still see the old image.  How or Can I update the image on my view for the topic icon?Thank you!

How do I change the labels for the Show/Hide widget? I've tried changing the lngvalue values in the slp files, but they get reset to the default ("Show" and "Hide") when I generate.

Using RH10My WebHelp project has been longstanding, and has been inherited. I have spent some time clearing up the Index file. When running the Unused Index Keywords report I now only get "Unused Topic Keywords", and rather a lot of them. According to RH Help, Topic Keywords are not the same as Index Keywords.However, these Unused Topic Keywords do not appear in the Index Pod (I only have one Index in the project). I suspect that the Topic Keywords were originally created by importing HTML Help into an early version of RH (maybe 7 or 8).There are NO entries in the Index Pod with a "key within a square" used to identify Topic keywords as opposed to Index Keywords.The RH Help suggests that Topic Keywords are stored in the actual topic file - if this is the case, I can't find them. Selecting a topic's properties also does not display any Keywords in the General tab.My question is, how can I remove these Unused Topic Keywords as I don't appear to be able to locate them anywhere within RH?

Since last week, I have this message: "The file "ehlpdhtm.js" used in "S1650000.htm", is outside of the current project and will not be shown in Project Manager.", every time I open the project, RoboHelp stop on every page I created with an HotSpot or a Drop Down on it or where I add an HotSpot or a Drop Down since last week. This represent about 200 pages of this project. It occurs every time when I add a new HotSpot or a Drop Down too! IThis RoboHelp project, was develop with RoboHelp x5, and I didn't ever have this error message before. What can I do? The project is about 4000 HTML files. I'm going crazy when I think if the only solution will be to modify manually the HTML code on every page where it occurs! Please help ...

I use the Tools>> Reports option alot and just used it a few weeks ago.  Now as of Friday, I am unable to see them in the menu.  Does anyone have any idea as to what has happened to them?  In fact, I can not find those reports at all in RH.  Am I just looking in the wrong place?  I welcome any assistance I can get to try to resolve this. Hi I generated the webhelp out without any problemms with the default .css.I am trying to generate with the same source files an output for iPad using the .css for iPad but the  TOC entries and the pages arent appearing.I used Firefox to view both outputs.Please let me know how to resolve this issue.Thanks!

What is the path format for a custom button on main window when it is a local help topic? I am using RH9 and trying to setup Button 1 or Button 2 to go to a help topic in my current Help project. Is a Web URL the only thing that works?

I have generated webhelp using RH10.  When the webhelp is deployed to the web server the navigation buttons (browse sequence) do not work with Google Chrome.  The buttons work correctly when the webhelp is installed on my local machine.

In my TOC, I have book icons and topics underneath.I'd like the books to display content to serve as a kind of "overview" for the topics that come underneath it. How do I enter content for book icons?Thanks!

Hi all!For some reason when I publish with the same FTP settings I've used dozens of time, I get a message "Publishing has been cancelled.  Failed to create file: Account_Reminders.jpg."  Now - before you think you know the answer here, I have consulted the forum and read Peter Grainge and others and their very detailed and helpful notes - but unfortunately they're not working for me!I have created a new folder (twice) and tried to publish to that new folder - same thing.  I created a folder on my hard drive and published to it without problem, so it has to be something involving the FTP.  I am over my head here - can anyone please help me?Thanks in advance!Chris

HalloI'm using RoboHelp 8 from the Technical Communication Suite.When I try to import a doc/docx file for my HTML help I get the message: 'The Import Word Document Wizard cannot locate a supported version of Microsoft Word. Please install Microsoft Word 2000 or newer.'Actually I have Microsoft Word 2010 installed in its default path.Do I have to set some particular options? Some days ago I had my PC replaced with a new one and I had to reinstall all of my programs. I think I've missed some settings.Thank you

Hello All,I have generated an output with adobe AIR, Midnight Black skin (accordeon template in Robohelp 8). Everything works fine, but chrome development panel shows that Midnight%20Black.swf is not found (the special symbols are intact). This file is supposed to be under the Themes directory, but I cannot find it there - neither on the local PC nor on the server.Where can I find it? also, if the core file is missing, why does everything work perfectly fine?Thanks1

How can I remove the underline from the list items in the popup menus associated with Related Topics and See Also buttons as shown in the picture?I am using RH 9.0.2. This project is being generated as WebHelp.Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,I have text centered below all thumbnail images that says "Click to Enlarge."  This works great when I the image is center aligned, but if the image is right aligned, the text below the image is centered below the image in the editor, but the text moves left when previewing or generating.How do I get text to stay exactly where it is in the editor without moving when previewing/generating?On the image below, the text is centered below the image (on the left), but it moves after previewing/generating (on the right).Thanks,Jeff

Hello,We are experiencing issues when using RoboHelp HTML 10 with SVN. I have created a small project containing two topics and checked it into SVN. My colleague can then get the project from SVN and the topics appear within the RoboHelp interface as expected. However, if I then add new topics into the RoboHelp project and check them into SVN, when my colleague gets the files (which appear on his hard drive as expected), they are not picked up within the RoboHelp interface.  I have read this thread (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1072217), however deleting the CPD file either manually or setting the check box in RoboHelp has not made a difference.   There was no issue using RH9 and SVN - this is a new phenomenon (the project I have created is a small test project, but our larger, production project is experiencing the same problems). We have a basic set up - we don't use a PushOK plugin for RoboHelp; we have set the CPD and PSS files to ignore in SVN.Any help would be gr

Is it possible to give spacing between the TOC entries within a skin?

We recently upgraded from RH7 to RH10.  I'm running 10.0.1. 1. The files (webhelp) generate fine, and in the output on my desktop I can see everything as I should (TOC, Index, Glossary, and all the topics and links) in Chrome and in Firefox. In IE11, the output seems fine, until I accept the blocked content. Than the pane with TOC, Index, Glossary, Search is empty.2. When the output is put on a server, and when opening, the TOC, Index and Search content is correct, but you don't see the topics. The pane that holds the topics is blank with only an error message :The error our Web server is giving for the defaultpage is : Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /..../intronl/introzw_n.htm on line 1The first line of the new RH 10 files are : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>The OLD RH 7 files did not have this line.Thanks for any help!!!

When I generate a .chm in RoboHelp and click to view the result: the .chm becomes displayed; when I click in the .chm on a link for opening a .pdf the .pdf is displayed correctly in the main .chm window.When I doubleclick the same .chm in the Windows Explorer: the .chm becomes displayed; when I click in the .chm on a link for opening a .pdf the .pdf is NOT displayed; instead a small grey icon is displayed in the main .chm window. This occurs on any pdf-link. It is impossible to show a .pdf included in a help-.chm.It occurs on Windows 7 64 bit + IE10.It does not occur on Windows 7 32 bit + IE10.It does not occur on Windows 7 64 bit + IE9 or IE8.Is there a solution?

Hello...having trouble with both methods of outputting PDFs, both Single Source Layouts - Printed Documentation and Review - Create PDF for Review. Both outputs have their good and bad points, however I have settled on the Printed Doc as the least work to make respectable.I'm working with RH v10 and Acrobat XI Pro.I do have problems like blank pages, easy to delete but the page numbering is then wrong. Does anyone know how to get rid of page numbering? It happens even when I use a custom master page with no numbering.But by far my biggest issue is with two long tables refusing to print beyond one page resulting in many of the rows being lost. I've gotten round it by using the Review PDF and pasting that in but it's time consuming and has different formatting, and of course that puts the page numbering out as well.I think this is very poor of Adobe, I'm really sorry I started using the RH editing instead of leaving the source in FrameMaker or Word. (My main output is WebHelp). But you l
