CS3 Installation for 64-bit system trying to install for a 32-bit system

I am trying to install Adobe CS3 on my new 64-bit laptop as my old one crashed. I purchased the CS3Master Collection downloadable package back in 2011. Everything appears to download fine until the end when I receive a message indicating the installation was unsuccessful. I discovered it is trying to install the CS3 on a 32-bit system instead of the 64-bit, which I am confused considering my old laptop was a 64-bit system as well, so I do not know why the program is trying to save as a 32-bit.
