you need to contact adobe support. there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

I experience similar case, I cancelled before the trial session ends and still got charged for two months. And if I chose to cancel the plan, I got a penalty. And now the representative is offering a lower/cheaper plan. Can't believe Adobe is this low!

I canceled my free trial subscription and the refund they provided didn't include the sales tax. How can you keep sales tax when an item is returned???

that does sound weird, but just the fact there is sales tax on subscription items is because of your location. hard to conceive of the sales tax needing to be paid when the subscription is cancelled but that's got to be a requirement of your locale (or an adobe error about your locale).
