credit card payment problems

Community Beginner ,
Nov 19, 2013 Nov 19, 2013

I've tried contacting Adobe over chat to try and resolve this, but the chat applet just hangs each time I've tried it (tested in Safari and Chrome browsers on a 2013 Macbook pro running Mavericks) I've got a couple of messages from Adobe indicating that they couldn't take payment from my credit card.  Same credit card that they've been using for over a year.  I spoke to the credit card company, they say there is no problem with the card and that Adobe has not tried to take payment.  I got them to check twice, so they are 100% sure that this is the case.

There doesn't seem to be any point in re-entering the credit card details, it's a corporate credit card and nothing has changed.

I can't find a telephone number to speak to Adobe about this and the emails sent to me are from a "noreply" email address.

Help!  How do I speak to someone to find out what the problem is and fix it?

Hi, I really want to give adobe my money, but its still not possible. My credit card Im using nearly every day is at your website not valid? I have talked to your online chat and via phone, but nobody helped me...

The payment form is still saying that: Your billing address doesn't seem to match the credit card you entered.

WTF? My addess is still the same and its also the same with my billing address at my account at adobe.

Can someone help me? It would be really nice I can give you my money, but it seems that at adobe they dont need it.

I am experiencing that same probem. My March (set on March 26) bill cannot be processed and there was no problem with the previous payments. I've already tried to re-enter my card data. Can you please charge my card again?

Greetings, I'm another gentleman here from Asia with the same problem. Been wanting to begin a Creative Cloud photography monthly subscription after my trial, but got a one liner that said: there was a problem with payment (or somewhere along the lines).

(1)

My card is a Mastercard (2) it uses mastercard's 3DG technology where it will send a one Tim password to your mobile phone before you can purchase something online (3) even if I use PayPal, same error message. Is this the incompatibilities of Digital River Ireland, one of your payment merchants?

I bought it from Best Buy instead, they had no problem refusing to process my payment. If Adobe proceeds with charging my card for the $150 and it is not refunded immediately legal action would follow. Do not charge my card for a single penny

As the issues stated above, Im facing similar problems in "processing my order" after numerous tries.

I just completed my Student 1 year contract and nearly finishing up with the free trial that came after the expiration of said student contract. Now I'm trying to purchase the individual set and after putting in a new credit card details and other required details it still won't process the oder. What is going on? I've tried over 7 times now. No joke.

this is getting really frustrating.

Lisa. Investigate using the Paypal recurring payments method  instead of using a credit card that Adobe can't seem to manage properly.  The monthly charges will still appear on your credit card statement via Paypal- who appears to be more reliable in handling customers' money.

Interesting issue. Mine is kind of the opposite with Adobe. On my personal account I changed my payment details only to find Adobe continued to charge the original card. I checked the account info and the changes I had made had reverted. I chalked it up to me perhaps not hitting a save button--human error. But now I just learned on my company account with Adobe, we changed cards because we changed bank accounts. The old account is momentarily static until it gets closed out. In September I changed my account details, and then a few days later went in to make sure those details stuck. All looked good. Until the company bank account showed Adobe charged the old card. Upon checking the payment details they had reverted. The account had $10 and was to be closed out this week... until Adobe withdrew from it. It'll be a $20 overdraft fee thanks to Adobe. Seriously, they should hire someone from AT&T's billing department. AT&T knows billing.

Hi Jason,

I know it is too late to response. I was curious that have you contacted Adobe regarding this, if yes, then will it be possible to provide the case number, I would like to follow it up.

In case the issue has been sorted out, then I assume no more action is required.

Rajashree

Hello,

I am having other type of problem. I mentioned when buying ADOBE that I need the software for only 1 month (I had to check the monthly plan) and I see that they still charge me after 2 months. I want my money back for those 2 extra months that they charged me. Any ideea how do I do that?

Thank you!

I made a mistake and bought a yearly account from Adobe.

I noticed at my credit card statement, Adobe charged me $15.45 for monthly unauthorized for 3 months.

I cancelled my yearly plan than they charged more around $45.

That was no fair and contacted costumer care and they said it was their terms so they stole my $90

They are really THIEF and i will make a claim to my bank regarding this situation.

Okay, I"m just gonna jump in here. I've got an issue with a credit card that's about to stop working and my payments are drawn monthly. I've been trying to figure out how to change to an annual pay plan on my debit card with no success. Adobe, you really are missing the boat when it comes to talking to regular people, especially when the regular people can't even figure out how to ask a question without jumping into someone else's thread.

Hopefully, Adobe will see this and contact me before my subscription runs into a problem. I can see why people are getting so frustrated with Adobe.

Wow, this thread spans 2-3 years...

I have the same problem. When I launch Lightroom, a dialog box pops up asking me to check my billing info because there was a problem with my last payment. So I checked, updated my credit to another credit card. Does not work! So I used chat. I was transferred from customer service to technical support to customer service to technical support and finally back to customer service. That was 3 days ago. Problem still persist. My credit card is good, Adobe just didn't want... I am losing it...

I will be calling the support line shortly but I thought I'll add my problems here. I have subscription with Google, Apple, some VPN company, Backblaze etc... you name it, no problems whatsoever. What's wrong with you Adobe?
