I am an occassional user of Adobe products. I do a few days on a project and then do not need for a few months.
I use other programs. The monthly plan is not good for this.
What about a timed plan? where you can buy a 20 days or 30 days of use that can be used within 1 year??
Seems obvious. There are a lot of us who just use an alternative for small projects or jsut do not do them.
Come on Adobe, consider all us small occasional users and give us a plan that work for us.

Adobe offers 3 Creative Cloud payment plans for working professionals, serious amateurs and full-time students.
Occasional users should look at Photoshop & Premier Elements (under $100, no subscription required).

What about non serious amatures who want a quality finished product, on the rare occasion they need it.

Agreed, on-demand pricing really ought to be a thing.
I work primarily as a software developer, but 10-15% of my time throughout any given year is design work. The timing of this workload is unpredictable, making it hard to stomach the subscription fees -- even an up-front annual plan.
There are surely loads of folks from all trades and hobbies in the same boat who simply decide they must use other tools, because the barrier to entry is too high.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I don't have a problem paying for a service, but hell that pricing is ridiculous for a home user that edits photos a couple times a year.

Consider Photoshop Elements (one time cost now a 3 year license) which is aimed at the casual hobbyist user.

upvote this.
There needs to be a plan for access to multiple apps, like $30/year, limited 100hr use. or make the activation by days, charged by days. Will look for substitution and cancel my plan.
Great product it is a pain not being able to use it. It's been pleasure to be in the club, but I am leaving now.
Goodbye Adobe.
