Question

Unsubscribe Photoshop 20GB plan

Hi. I have a Photographer plan (20GB). I want to cancel because the price has increased and it's no longer suitable for me, but they tell me, "You will be charged for early cancellation.
US$97.29
According to the original agreement, a fee will apply if you terminate your annual subscription early."
The problem is, I don't have an annual plan; I pay monthly. This seems like blackmail.
Communicating with the chatbot didn't help. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi @Faith26613024jn8h,

We appreciate you reaching out. I reviewed your account details and found that you have an annual plan paid monthly. This is the reason you have been requested to pay early termination fee for cancelling the subscription before term end.
You can check the details here: https://adobe.ly/43aFoLQ

Having said that, you can always speak with our support team here: https://adobe.ly/4nKj5F7

They'll provide you the best possible solution here.

@Faith26613024jn8h

The Photography plan does not have a month-to-month subscription. It has two plans:

  • Annual, paid in lump sum
  • Annual, paid monthly

These plans are deeply discounted. There is a month-to-month plan at full price that can be canceled at any time without penalty. The discounted annual plans have a cancellation fee.

Thanks for the reply, so should I upgrade my plan to $34.49 and then cancel my subscription next month? Will there be no penalties?

Unfortunately, as they explained to me, I already have an annual plan with monthly payments. Do you think I can change the plan to a monthly one and then cancel it after a month?

Not likely without a penalty.
