I just received an email from Adobe notifying me that the monthy price of Creative Cloud All Apps 100GB is increasing "from A$79.99/month to A$96.99/month". The reason cited is (allegedly) "to offset fluctuations in currency exchange rates". Sorry Adobe, but you are disingenuous.
Here are the facts:
Since the previous price increase of CC in January 2023, the value of the Australian dollar compared to the US dollar has decreased 12.70%. However, this latest CC price increase is 21.25% for the same 2-year period. So, the 8.55% margin has nothing to do with exchange rate fluctuations. It is purely PRICE GOUGING!
I'm now in the process of migrating all my current work to DaVinci Resolve, and I'll soon be dropping Adobe like a stone.

what's the cost for the annual prepaid plan?

That is the annual plan, billed monthly.

yes, is the prepaid plan less (like the usa photography plan which is discounted by 1/3)?

Annual, prepaid A$1,055.87
Annual, paid monthly A$1,163.88
I prefer the paid monthly option for an additional A$108.01 because it allows me to opt-out anytime if Adobe crosses a line. And Adobe have crossed a line. Their greed has gone too far.
So, Davinci Resolve, here I come! How much does that cost per month? Oh wait... it's a one-time payment! And it's only 42.51% of the annual CC cost.

the annual plan paid monthly adds a penalty if you opt out before the plan expires (in one year).

Thanks for the heads-up! I still have 30 days to cancel before it renews, so no loss. Cheers.

make sure to set a reminder to cancel prior to your renewal date.
make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html
if you're unable to follow the steps described, you'll need to await help from an adobe employee for the next step. (if you don't get a reply here from a badged employee within 24 hours, repost.)
and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

Hi @@the outward spiral,
We appreciate you sharing your feedback. We'll make sure it gets more eyes.

This does seem an unreasonably high jump up in price. The alternative plan options also seem unreasonable, so there's not a lot of options to reduce the price, so I can imagine a lot of people will be dropping out

the photography plan (paid annually) is still US $120/yr

Adobe you have really disappointed me. I just received the same price increase email and.... Not happy!!!!
I have been with Adobe since 1996 and I can only imagine how much that has cost me, but am trying really hard not to think about it. I use InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro plus others, every day of the week and have done since the beginning of time. What is your problem?
Seriously Adobe, what has happened to LOYALTY? If the shoe was on the other foot I am sure that your company would feel as violated as I do right now. So, as 'the outward spiral' has rightly pointed out, Australians are about to be ripped off. My Creative Cloud All Apps 100GB subscription was $87.99 and is now $96.99. If I wasn't smart enough to know better, I'd say that sounded like a Trump Tariff, or do you really want Australia to single handedly pay for your AI development?
Please start considering your long term loyal customers before we all find another option and turn our backs on you.
