Adobe is sending 5 digit codes instead of 6 digit code required for 2FA.

Can anyone help me understand why this occrurs and how to fix please?

With thanks.

I have seen this for the last two months (for every login attempt), the solution for me has been to click "did not receive code" and request a new code (after 30 seconds) always sends 6 digits on the second attempt. I am not using their security app, Creative Cloud on my PC is looking for a 6 digit which it sends to my mobile (well five on the first attempt)

Hi there,

Adobe would always send a 6-digit code for 2FA. A 5-digit code could mean a phishing attempt.

If you are still getting a 5 digit code, kindly share a screenshot with us so that we can look into it.

Thanks

Kanika

are you using the adobe account access security app?

Trying to set it up, yes.

To be clear, Adobe requires 2FA via sms to set up the Authenticator App, and this is where a 5 digit code is sent,  instead of the 6 digit code required.
