Hi Hendy20,

If you are not able to proceed to the sign out step trough the Creative Cloud Desktop Manager, please follow the steps below then :

Delete the OPM.db file :

  1. Close the Creative Cloud application.
  2. Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE

  3. Delete the opm.db file.
  4. Launch Creative Cloud.

If you are not able to find that file, please check the following link, that may be because your library is hidden.

I am having the same issue and it does not let me delete the opm.db file because it says it is currently open in CC (when I don't have the CC window actually open). What do I do in this case?

For everyone having this issue, I ended up deleting the Creative Cloud off my computer, doing the above steps (looking up local data folder and deleting that OOBE file, and then reinstalling Creative Cloud. It worked just fine after that!!!

Here is the path for both OS :

  1. Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
  2. Delete the opm.db file.
  3. Launch the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Note : These can be hidden folder too.

Thank you so much for this post. 5 hours later I came across this and it worked!

My problem was I created an account and wrote by mistake wrong Email.

After realising I created new one but on I cloud app that you download to your MacBook I realised it wouldnt let me have Sihn in option because I still haven't verify my address the one I typed in by mistake and I have try for so many hour figure out how to sign out so I could log in with my new correct email address. I came across this on this forum and it worked!

This the method 3 I used on my MacBook.

Method 3

The following method makes the user Library folder permanently visible.

Note:

Adobe recommends that only advanced users use this method.

  • Launch Terminal from Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities.

  • From within Terminal, type the following command and press Return:
    chflags nohidden ~/Library

  • Enter the system administrator password, if prompted, and press Return.

Note: The system administrator password is not visible as you type it.

  • Close Terminal. The Library folder is now permanently visible in the Finder.

and......After all this you just open your iCloud app and continue press the blue highlighted area where it will say send email  to verify your email that what I did and it refreshed and let me log in with the current new email
I hope this helps as much is it did to me.
    Thank you. x

I having the same issue but I can't locate the OOBE file. I even tried the ~ /Library method. I really wish Adobe created its desktop app for the average user.
