Fill& Sign does not show any Chinese input. I can do so in Edit, but Fill & Sign does not allow such actions and the form remains blank.

using version 2022.001.20085 on the iMac Pro.

Same issue, either acrobat or acrobat reader will fail to input chinese character when entering fill & sign mode.
Already updated to latest version. Very easy to repro.

Hi there

It would be super helpful if you can share a small video recording of the steps you are doing and the issue you are experiencing for more clarity.

Also, collect the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud and generate the link and share that link with us for further investigation.

I have the same issue

Architecture: x86_64

Processor: Intel

Build: 22.3.20281.0

AGM: 7.0.1

CoolType: 8.1.0

JP2K: 3.0.1.51486

Symptoms

1. When typring Chinese to a blank filed, it won't show up

2. However, if you start something that is non UTF8, then, switch to chinese, make any symbol appear on the filed, then your chinese, it will show up sucessfully.

Hi,  Are you able to find a solution?  I am having the same exact issue.  I use a Mac M1 and the Chinese characters will only appear when I type a punctuation sign such as "," first.  But as soon as I delete that punctuation, all Chinese character would dissapear.

Nop, due to time limit, I ended up filling up the form on my iPad. iPad or iOS worked fine

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and am sorry for the trouble.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What happens when you try to fill and sign the Chinese characters? Do you get any error messages? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same. Also, a small video recording would be very helpful.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
