I am trying to batch convert PDFs into PDF/A files for archive and am able to convert the Preflight PDFA profile but I cannot actually convert the file to PDF/A. Here is the error message I am getting --

"The document has been saved, however, it could not be converted according to the selected standard profile: Convert to PDF/A. Please use the Preflight with the profile "Convert to PDF/A" in order to identify those properties of the document which prevent it from being compliant to this profile."

What happens when you do what Adobe Acrobat suggests?

same error message no matter what preflight profile I use - Adobe seems to be no help when seeking answers to this.

++ Adding to the discussion

What is the workflow/steps you are doing to convert batch files to PDF/A? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

Also make sure you have the application updated to the latest version 23.08.2042X from the help manu > check for udates and reboot the computer once.

Also, please go through the help article https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/hub/how-to-convert-pdf-to-pdfa.html and the similar discussion with correct answer marked https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/convert-pdf-to-pdf-a-batch-process/td-p/9474446 and check

If anyone has any insight as to the fix for this PLEASE follow up. Thank you! I have batches of 100+ PDF documents that are anywhere from 50-140 pages and direly need to batch process.
