Hello,

I can't find the Fill & Sign Tool on Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, the only tool available is the certificates and it does not allow me to add a simople signature. When I use the website version, I can sign the documents and then download them. Anyone having the same issues, any solutions?

Hi Fikry

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20169 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

Please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Hello Amal, I have tried moving the files to desktop and re-launched but it still doesn't show the fill & sign tool. I have removed and re-installed Adobe DC Pro also and still this exists. I have the newest version installed.

What is your actual version of Acrobat Pro - not "latest" please, please look it up?

Was your computer or Acrobat set up by your employer or school initially?

You say you've moved files to desktop and you've reinstalled, but those things weren't in our initial replies. Which of these specific things did you do, that were in our replies?
- try to reset the Acrobat preferences
- try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account

Hi, I have looked it up and confirmed before I reply before, it is 2022.001.20169

I have removed the files on the desktop and re-launched, the tool still did not reflect Sign & Fill. I put back the files and re-launched and it did not reflect Sign & Fill. I removed the app and re-installed and it did not reflect Sign and Fill . I created a new user with admin rights and accessed Acrobat DC Pro and there is still no Sign and Fill.

Did you try resetting preferences?

(Please don't try to answer these questions by mentioning reinstalling)

Hello, please note that my issue is still not resolved. To be frank I don't think that such issues should be occuring specialy that I am paying a monthly fee and I am not getting the features that I am paying for. I have been trying all the suggestions here but nothing workes. Appreciate if I could get proper support for an issue with your product.

Thanks

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that the issue is still unresolved.

Please try the steps in the sequence below and see if that works:

  1. Remove the Acrobat Pro DC application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html
  2. Reboot the computer once
  3. Reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Let us know how it goes
