Question

font color lightens after signed with Adobesign

When I sent documents for signature by Adobe sign, they come back signed and the font color is normal (default black) on the signature part but the rest of the document is extremely light/faint and even lighter when it is printed. Is this due to a default setting I may have in place or how to correct this?

Hello- please see my comments below in red:

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If its an issue with a specific file, please share the file with us for checking at our end. It happens to all PDF files

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer. I am currently up to date (21.005.20060)

I have tried the remaining options you gave me an I am still getting the same results.

Hi Victoria

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the signed pdf returns with light/faint text and it becomes even lighter on printing.

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Windows Only) and reboot the computer.

You may also try to turn off the protected mode for testing (Win Only) Go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable protected mode at startup' Turn off the protected  mode and uncheck enhanced security > Click OK and reboot the computer

Note: Please turn on the security after testing to avoid any security risk

Also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.
