Form fields only recognized as signature field

Starting around mid-morning April 15, when using Acrobat Pro and after using the same forms successfully several times, suddenly none of the text form fields can be filled and the only option that comes up when the field is clicked is the option to sign. Occasionally, for a fraction of a second right at start up, I can type in the form field, but then the program flickers like it's finishing loading and its back to the only option being a signature.

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20687 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that works.
