Need automation to use Acrobat Droplet at once for multiple files

Hi,

In our organisation we are using Enfocus Pitstop Server for Preflighting the PDF files. One of our file was delivered to our client with font embedding issue. This was not captured in the Enfocus Preflight Server.

So, we have tested to preflight the PDF in Acrobat Pro and it shows the problematic occurances correctly and also i have raised this issue in forum earlier and got replied from an expert (refer below link) https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/font-error-message/td-p/11874090

Now, we have created a new preflight with some font checks and exported as Droplet.exe.

Droplet features requires user intervention to select files and drop it in to droplet exe. Can you please let me know if any other automation feasible available for validate multiple PDF files at once which the file dropped by different users like Enfocus Pitstop Server application.

Thanks,

Santhosh

hi,

are you working on a pc?

you can run files via batch

e.g.
"C:\Users\[user name]\Desktop\Droplets\change size to A3.exe" "C:\Users\[user name]\Desktop\temp\a.pdf"

or you can setup a loop if there are going to be a lot of files with different names all the time.

Acrobat may not be used in a server solution. I believe that Acrobat's Preflighting is a limited version of callas pdfToolbox. I think the full products supports automation and may have a server version.
