I have a file that has bookmarks, it's a legal document for Supreme Court California, my image is on many pages small block. It doesn't show on the saved file, but it shows in preview app on Mac and Adobe Acrobat. The PDF on other devices doesn't show the image. I know it's Christmas but this document is due midnight.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.
What is the workflow/steps you are doing? A small video recording of the steps and issue would be very helpful for more clarity.
What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.2042X installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...
You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in MAC https://support.apple.com/en-in/102367 and try using the application there and check.
If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that works.

I just started writing for Cour againt, the issue was on many documents and I dont understand why the image would disapear, though it showed on preview.app and the adobe. Is there a setting that makes references to images locally and not embeded? What sucks is I had a Document with the Court of Appeals rejected, and they don't tell you why as per protocol. Then I snet it to the Supreme Court and Caught the bug excluding the images which happen to be signatures. Right now im trying to try word instead. I have years of documents in Acrobat but I always have down time and crashes. This was the worst. Just know there's a Supreme Court filing mentioning an Adobe bug with images. Major drop of the ball...

Ok, after I played with Word online for hour or two, another problematic venture. I tried creating a new pleading form that aligns. Horrible, I'll try the actual program next. Digressing.
1. I created a new document from the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro
Continuous Release | Version 2023.006.20380. MAcOS.
2. I put the same signature image from the my drive on a new document, I also put one from an external drive, saved doc. Then I put an image from an externaldrive, disconnected it prior to saving file to deduct.
3. I copied the image from one pdf to another within Acrobat, ChatGPT says sometimes Acrobat will ask if you want to link the the image or embed it, no such option popped up.
4. The copied image again failed to show on an external device, IOS, the other signatures in step one did. So the problem is the copied signature but I tried recreating it with the new signature by copying it and it worked. So the issue remains if there was a link option initially on the first image.
5. The "corrupted image" is blank when copied to a new document but shows on external documents when exported as .doc file, and shows in preview.app only on the system working with the pdf.
6. Last, though not always , sometimes after an image in pasted or imaported and saved, the document turns to landscape from portrait, I've posted about this before.
This matters because I spent a month drafting that document, studying laws, reading cases only to have the work be rejected due to lack of signatures.
Included is the "PUBLIC DOCUMENT" filed with the Courts, no signature. The case can be downloaded at the Court by anyone.
Signed,

I tried converting the PDF to WORD through the adobe converter but things shift. I'm gonna try word to see if the workflow is faster, attorneys tell me that Acrobat cant handle long filings. TY...
