Acrobat Reader DC update

when I start Reader  I get the following error message (twice). I also get it when I try to manually update. I am running windows 10.

    Hi, I just saw this posted and it seems like it forwards to a very old thread in which someone seemed to find a solution for the update but no one ever confirmed in that thread to the user that found a solution to this issue.
