Acrobat Reader Doesn't Work on Chrome

Every time I click on a link that would open in Acrobat Reader on Chrome, it shows up as this error: auth.services.adobe.com refused to connect. The only way to get it to work for a few mins is by clearning my cache from all time. Or I have to see it Icognito mode.

But that messes up any other tabs I have open and makes it so I have to login again for every account. Can someone tell me why this is happening?

Can you try clearing the browser cache and then using the extension again.

Have you tried using incognito mode in chome to see if that resolves?

If so the problem is with one of your browser extensions,

Hi Nicolle

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As mentioned, Every time you click on a link that would open in Acrobat Reader on Chrome, it shows up as this error: auth.services.adobe.com refused to connect and its works once yo nuclear the cache.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to help > about Acrobat and make sure yo have the recent version 21.11.20039 installed. Go to help > Check for updates and reboot the computer.

Also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

You may also try using a different web browser and see if that helps.

I could open PDFs in Microsoft Edge but not Chrome.  Clearing the browser cache in Chrome resolved the issue for me.
