I have an Imac 2021 running Sonona. I have downloaded and installed Adobe from their website. When I click on a PDF it loads but will not let me print. Get an error message saying install printer first but I have a printer installed by Adobe does not seem to recognise.
Any advice.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Restart your computer.
If needed, update your print driver from the printer's website.

This did not work. I can print from every app I have on my Imac running Sonona 14.1 except Adobe which says I need to install a printer. Why does Adobe not recognise I already have one.

You have to install the printer to the computer first and then install the printing program because if you don't install it and turn on the program, you won't be able to find it. Try it first.

That's not the issue here. The printer driver is installed and connected with the printer.

I have fixed it!!! Installed latest level of Adobe Reader. Then delete printer from System Preferences. Shut down and then restart Imac. Then reinstall Printer. Tested and works!! Thanks for all adice.
