We have a new and very problematic issue with acrobat on iPad Pro. I use this as a construction drawing markup and approval tool and access the files via dropbox. Since December we have not been able to markup or open files without the software freezing and crashing. Is their any known causes or cures for this please? It is very time consuming to do the same from Apple Books and transfer to and from

we have tried opening the same files from email and encounter the same problem so could it be problems with the file itself? We have successfully marked up the files previously however. Any help or similar experience would be greatly appreciated

I have been facing the same kind of issues for less than a month now. Acrobat crashes very often when a file is trying to be opened. After few annotations (simple hilights on text) the app crashes and the previously done annotations are lost. Im using iPad A1567 with iOS 13.4. Version of Adobe acrobat is 20.03.01.

I would also like to mention that the bug is most probably in the acrobat app, not in the ios, since I updated the iOS shortly after encountering this bug the first time. This is very annoying because it practically prevents me to do the annotations. Im using the google account and the edited pdf files are on google drive so im not sure if this is only related to files located in the cloud. However in the past the app has worked flawlessly.

I am also encountering the same issues. When I attempt to add comments or highlight, the app keeps crashing and the work is not saved. Has a solution been found to this problem?

No responses from Adobe. I have totally abandonded adobe acrobat on ipad and only use PDF Expert - a much more stable software that has been working seemlessly with dropbox. Additional to this i am also experiencing crashing problems on my PC as well with Adobe and have downloaded 'Foxit Reader' as an alternative when this becomes too much of an issue with certain markup drawings

I made the leap to IpadPro for urban design work versus handrawing etc. ... trying to stick with Adobe products on my subscription even thought there are many apps out there.  I have to say that Acrobat is VERY clunky to markup on all platforms, was looking forward to using my pencil as an improvement.  Once I finally figured out how to get Creative Cloud files to sync, I then tried to open the file in acrobat and it continuously crashes.   Not working.  I will be trying Morpholio as it has well regarded pdf markup tools, but am hoping that acrobat figures this out.  Please, Adobe, markup in Acrobat is so 1995.  This crash issue, though is another story.   Looking forward to a fix.  ðŸ˜ž

It is now Sun 21 Feb And this problem persists.
The time I have wasted on this stupid app!!

Adobe is an absolute pain and I'm sure it is the pop-up offering new features that causes the problem.

I am migrating all my.PDF documents to my Mac and transitioning to PDF Expert or Readdle and will delete alAdobe Acrobatic and any other Adobe apps on my iPad Pro!

😊

Regards all,.... David
