The Acrobat app (version 22.06.00) on my iPhone 12 Pro Max running IOS 15.5 is excruciatingly slow to the point of having to wait 15-60 seconds to simply open a document. It's so bad that using any of the app features are unusable due to the app constantly crashing and even copying text is out of the question sometimes depending on the document size.My iPhone storage is showing that Acrobat is using up 2.98 GB of documents and data and I assume that is the cause of my problem because the app runs perfectly fine if I am logged out as a new user. If I need to delete all of my files in Acrobat please tell me how to do that without having to individually delete each one. I have searched the community posts on this website for an answer, but all of the answers from Adobe customer service were worthless garbage.

Hello,
I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.
The problem with the application running slow is, is it every time you run it? You may try the below steps once:
1. From the app switcher, remove all the other applications running in the background;
2. Then go to Settings-> General-> iPhone Storage-> Acrobat Reader-> Offload App;
3. Once done, restart the phone;
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Souvik.

Same here, iPad Air 2. 10-15 sec longer for files to load, also delays in menu selection, e.g. comments.

Happy to hear that it helped you.
App Cloud Reload for the first time will take time as it starts the sync again from the very beginning.

I have the same problem. I followed all the instructions and have no improvement. I have 256GB storage phone with 170.35GBU available storage and Adobe using 1.46GB. My iPhone is 11 pro running on iOS 16.3.1. I have been having this slow load of app, slow load of files, and trouble highlighting for copying. I have approximately 510 Adobe files on the phone.

Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.
Have you checked if the files are stored on Adobe Cloud Storage? If yes, you might want to check reinstalling the application once which cleares the cache files stored in your device to clear any unwanted files from your device.
Note: Uninstalling the application might delete any unsaved data.

I have the same problem on my iphone 13 pro. I did the offloading steps and it improve it by maybe 50%. My documents are stored on my iPhone. What can I do to fix the remaining slowness and delay?

@A30935936a3lf It also depends on the device's condition.
For example, the amount of storage space left on your device, the battery percentage, the iOS you are on, and the hardware.
Also, the type of document you open significantly matters when looking at the device's performance.

My iPhone 13 pro is only a year old, with 85% battery health, and 59 GB of free space. The same issue happened to my iPhone 12 pro max, which was my previous cell phone.
The documents I'm opening are simple PDF files many of which are less than five pages long with no crazy color or animations. I've been opening the same to files for the past 10 years. Only the last year to year and a half that adobe app has becoming horribly slow to the point where is unusable.
So as you can see, I'm not doing anything crazy, do you have any other way to make your app functional again by fixing the slow loading time? Have you guys downgraded some kind of functionality on your side that is making the app slow on our end? Hope you can help. If you can't help then frankly no one else can; it's your app.

Hi @A30935936a3lf,
Thank you for the response.
We would like to know more details on the issue. Can you share a few more pieces of information:
1. A sample file that you view where you observe the lag;
2. A screen recording showing the lag in the device;
3. The application version of Acrobat Reader Mobile you are using (go to Profile-> About Adobe Acrobat);
Look forward to hearing from you.
