Change font to Courier 12 on Android

Hello!

I want to edit my Final Draft screenplay and paid for PDF editing and I went to edit,  but the font isn't Courier 12, as it should be in the script. when I edited. Is there a way to do that on a mobile device? I know I can probably do it on my laptop (change the font) but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it on my phone.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi @Jed22578074xw63

As the Reader mobile app has a limited variety of fonts available, you can see Courier std font. To know how to change font and text size, here is a help document you can refer to:

https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/android/en/editpdf.html

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harsh

Hi @Jed22578074xw63,

You can activate the font through Creative Cloud if they are available on the website: https://font.adobe.com/

We have rolled out an update for Acrobat Reader Mobile, which now identifies fonts activated or purchased using the Creative Cloud Account and reflects on the Acrobat App.

Would you mind giving it a try and letting us know if it works?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi @Luca32813366mhro,

Thank you for writing in.

I suggest installing the Creative Cloud mobile app once on your device which ensures that the font is completely installed.

Once done, you should be able to use the font on Acrobat.

Hope this helps.

Hi Souvik,

It still doesn't work for me unfortunately. Can you please provide more
help:

I have installed on my Android phone: Acrobat Reader (pro license) and
creative cloud. Then added nunito sans in the adobe website while logged in
with my Adobe account. Unsuccessful.

Then I have installed creative cloud desktop, signed in with my Adobe
account, added the font. Still not working in the app on my phone.

If this doesn't work I would like a refund on my pro license. I cannot find
any Adobe help documentation for this for Android.

Thanks for your help,
Luca

I was informed by Adobe Support member Aateef that adding fonts to Adobe premium (mobile) is not possible. @S. S Do you agree?

Hi @Luca32813366mhro,

I checked the case notes of your conversation with our support team member.

I am sorry for the misinformation shared with you and I have made sure my colleague is shared a refresher for the topic.

Creative Cloud Fonts are available to be used on mobile devices.

If you are not able to, I request you to share a screen recording of the issue for better understanding and assistance.

I'm really upset now to receive such different information after many hours
of research on Adobe help pages that just focuses on iOS devices or
desktop, contacting support (here and in the chat) and trying on my own on
different devices with no success.

Thank you very much for getting on this, please share a tutorial with me
how it should be done, I personally won't spend more time on this unless I
clearly see it is possible. I need to use the google font
Nunito sans in Acrobat Reader premium on my Android device (phone/tablet),
the app does not have it installed.
