Change the author of comments on iOS

Question

I annotated a pdf on my iPad, and all the comments are marked with my name. Is it possible to change the name of the commenter? I tried wirh Acrobat Pro on my Windows machine, but it will not allow me to change the name. I can't find an equivalent option on iOS.

Hope you are doing well and apologies for the delayed response.

Currently in Acrobat Reader for mobile do not allow to change the author name on already posted comments. If you have changed the author name, the new comments will appear with that name but for old comments you need to re-write comments in order to post them with new author name.

Hi Fernando,

Hope you are doing well.

As you have mentioned, you want to change the author’s name but unable to see the option which you saw on the desktop app.

To change author’s name please follow below given steps:

Check the preferences option, which is there on the top right corner.
Tap on pie icon.
Select preferences>Author name. From there you can change the name showing on comments.
