Downloading pdf on iPad

Yesterday I could open pdf downloads from websites on my iPad. Now it's stopped. I've downloaded the latest  Acrobat Reader but still can't download and open the pdf. I've tried saving the pdf to photos and open in Acrobat but I can't do that.  Any suggestions please

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile. 

 

I tried to reproduce this on my end but could not do so. You may take reference from the screenshot below :

Thanks for taking the time to respond.  Unfortunately I don't get the menu option you sent and in the Adobe menu I can't see the pdf.  What's happening is that I'm in website on my ipad which has a pdf download in it.  I try and download the pdf, it tries and takes me to a blank page and then just hangs there.  I can't save the pdf anywhere to open in the Adobe menu options.  Any further thoughts please
