Just bought the adobe premium app for IOS Read previous help on this same issue and it said it was solved in the past. However it is not.
Just trying to modify existing text on pdf. It is already recognized as text by this app. Edit only haw thr delete option, ot does not matters if i hold it on the screen. It turns a blue layer and deletes all the page. This is just bought and in the 7 trial period, if this trial is the cause how can I skip this trial to use ALL the features right now? Thx

Hi @J283142960pfb,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.
If the file is not a scanned copy, you should get the option to edit the text, as Acrobat recognizes the text and allows you to edit them.
You may reference the screen recording attached to the response.
Hope this helps.

Thanks but that it is NOT WHAT I AM ASKING
Symple and plain I DO KNOW how to edit, however the adobe premium app DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY
JUST WANT A SOLUTION not instructions how to use it.
I have found this SAME ISSUE in previous comments YEARS ago.
seems this has NOT BEEN SOLVED and it is ongoing.
Edit has only the DELETE OPTION. Files IT IS A PDF with already text recognition but EDIT does NOTHING ELSE than DELETE.
AFTER YEARS HAS THIS BEEN SOLVED?

@J283142960pfb Would you mind coming over to the community to attach the file?
The workflow, as you mentioned, is not visible on the thread.

Hi @J283142960pfb,
Thank you for sharing the screen recording. Does the issue replicate in all the PDFs that you use? I tried following the workflow, and it worked fine for me.
Also, would you mind updating the application to the latest version of the application? It did seem that the file you are trying to edit has restricted any editing.

I also just tested and the Premium app is working properly here. Editing text works quite well.
It could be an issue with the document or with the typefaces used in the document.
