I have a pdf document and I want to add a hyperlink to another pdf document that is not in the same file. Do I need to add the file to my document and hide it or is there another way to do this?

This is not possible with Acrobat Reader.

Use Adobe Acrobat on Windows or Mac.

I've created it on acrobat mac and it will work on my computer but if I email it out -- the link will not work.  Do I need to have the hyperlink go to a webpage -- I just want it to go to another PDF that is not part of the document - Is that possible?
