How to save changes in PDF with the same name on iPad?

I want to save pdf with the same name on my iPad, but I only see an option to "save a copy". When I save a copy it automatically renames the file, which I don't want. Is there a way to save changes with the original file name or perhaps with a pop up that asks me to specify the file name?

Thanks for replying everyone! It is solved now. The solution is that if I edit the PDF on ipad then it automatically saves it. There is no need to save it by clicking on save a copy button on Adobe PDF software.

    It's frustrating, right?. I lost my work because i thought it will autosave but its not! I think having a basic save button would be very helpful.

    This is not true. Changes do not save automatically to the original location

    I've tested the issue on my end and found that everything is working as expected. After making changes to the PDF file in Acrobat Reader Mobile app, I clicked the check mark at the top right corner, and the changes were saved with the same file name.

     

    Could you please share a short video recording of the steps you're taking and the issue you're encountering? This will help us better understand the situation and investigate further.

    After saving you can change the file name.

    Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the delay in response.

     

    As I understand, you are using the Save a copy option in the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application to save the PDF from Document Cloud on the iPad. You have mentioned that on saving a copy, it automatically renames the file. Could you please confirm if this occurs with every PDF you save on the device? Share the complete workflow you used and the screenshot for the same. 

    Please ensure that the application is updated to the latest version.
