link in PDF not working on my mobile

my product is literally PDF files - fashion designs.

my customers can not access links to my media platforms at all when using mobiles and tablets.

the links seem to work on laptops when i create the PDFs. I use Word to write the original file, then export to PDF.

i read some of the threads from last year but still haven't found a solution other than BUYING the pro version. is that necessary? has this bug been turned into a profit for the company only, or is there a step by step way to make the links work?

thx

Hi @Crochet Goddess

Hope you are doing well.

As we have checked the attached PDF, the links were working fine. In total there are 4 links on the PDF, have you added more links? Did you check at your end in the Acrobat Reader mobile app if the links are working?

Thanks,

Harsh

Hi @Crochet Goddess

We have checked on mobile Reader and Acrobat Reader DC for desktop but, it looks like that the icons are not created as links properly. Hence you should try creating them again. The issue is with the file and not with the Reader application.

Let us know if you need any help with creating links on a PDF.

Thanks,

Harsh

thx for that. it was quite a convoluted issue but i solved it all now.

i previously used Open Office and the links would not work, then i transfered all the text to a newly purchased Microsoft Office package, but the links did not transfer.

I added the links you could not see again (they were not there, in Word, and i didn't realise it) and sent it to myself via facebook messenger. i then tried to download it but it kept getting stored god knows where. then i downloaded another Acrobat reader onto the phone, but it would not see the document. i guess it never got really downloaded cause facebook has its on embedded reader or whatever it might be called.

so i ended up uploading the pdf to a group i run and the download was visible and from there, still in facebook pdf viewer or whatever it was, i chose to open with acrobat. all links are finally working. i can now edit the rest of the PDFs
