Liquid Mode Prompt - Disable the Prompt!

I use Acrobat to read lots of different screenplays distributed in PDF file format. The screenplay format is a very deliberate document format. I NEVER, EVER want to use Liquid Mode. I disabled the automatic conversion, but Acrobat keeps prompting me trying to pressure me into using the feature on every document. Why? Why would I ever want a program to mutilate the original format and intent of an author? Especially in a way we do not understand!

Yes, I saw the thread that says I can open and save the default view for a document, but I never reopen these documents after I read them.

Adobe collects a lot of usage metrics for their applications. I am sure they realize I never ever click on this thing other than to dismiss it. Why is Adobe trying so hard to force a bad/useless feature upon its users? I just want to open a document and read and highlight. I am annoyed with Adobe every time I see that prompt.

I have shifted away to other readers like the one built into OneDrive which is not intrusive to my productivity.

Why does Adobe keep forcing users to answer that annoying question about Liquid mode? If the user doesn't want to be asked again, it should exist the option to turn that annoying question off. That's it. It's the user preference and it must be respected.

Your problem is that you assume adobe cares.

This has been going on for years and still everytime I open anything I get the same stupid suggestedtion for a part f the product *NO ONE WANTS TO USE* but they will keep forcing you to click the annying popup. If you have any hope it will ever get removed you're more hopeful than me. Personally, I'm moving away from adobe products in toto. They feel like windos xp era and I find these annyances making them less and less relevant for me.

I would be very interested in hearing what vendors you're exploring or trying and how they've fared. I, too, would gladly move to a viable option. Thanks!

Hi @Gaurav3078463634tn,

Thank you for reaching out.

With a few changes to the prompt, you can disable the option by going to Profile-> Preferences-> turn off the toggle button for "Automatically convert to Liquid Mode," and it should work.

Let us know if this help.

Hi Souvik,

It does not work on iPad. I have a button named "Automatically convert to Liquid Mode" which is set to off, but I want to turn off the prompt to view documents in liquid mode. I never ever want Acrobat Reader to ask me about liquid mode again. This is on Acrobat 23.08.01.
