Notes disappear when touching elsewhere on document

I am using Acrobat Reader 21.05.00 (20210519.165138) on an iPad and when I am writing a sticky note this disappears if I accidentally touch elsewhere on the document. It does not matter whether I am typing or handwriting the note. There should be a notice given to the user to Post or disregard the note when (often accidentally) she changes the focus outside the sticky note.

Are you still experiencing the issue, and is it with a particular file or with all the files?

Please make sure the application is up to date.
