Good day, two years ago I bought a with password protected PDF file that I use daily with Acrobat. However, since 2 months the files are not or only partially readable because most of the text is missing. Only when I log out and in (in the Acrobat app on iPad) the text files are readable, but only the page that was open. The app seems to have trouble loading the file (6.6 MB) but also after a long time, most pages stay blanco? Do you have any idea what could be the cause? Thanks in advance for your response.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the experience you had with Acrobat Reader Mobile.
Since you are referring to a particular file, would you mind sharing some information to help us investigate the issue better:
1. The application version of Acrobat Reader you are using;
[ To check the application version, click on the profile icon on the top right-> Click on About Acrobat Reader]
2. The iPadOS version of your device;
3. A screen recording of the scenario happening for better understanding;
4. The PDF for us to try and reproduce the issue at our end.
While you are doing so, please try the below steps once:
1. Go to Settings;
2. Click on General-> iPad Storage;
3. Scroll down to look for Acrobat and click on it;
4. Click the option that says Offload.
Once done, restart the device.

Good day, thank you for your response. I reset the app via Ipad storage but that made no difference. So here are the answers to your questions:
1) Version 22.09.00
2) ipadOS version 15.7 (ipadPro)

You see I open the (password protected) pdf and search by name. The pages that appear are partly blank (there is hardly any text/ most text is missing). Blank pages are also there when I just scroll through the pages. It may be important to note that the text of a blank page does appear when I close the PDF and open it again. The next page will unfortunately be blank again.
4) Unfortunately I can't send you the PDF because I paid for it and it is password protected.
Previously I was always able to read the PDF (6.6 mb) well. Not anymore for about 2 months.

Hello Souvik,
I have been in contact with the publisher of the PDF in the US. I have reinstalled the PDF but the problem is still not solved. The document can be read on another pdf reader (Books), so unfortunately I am forced to switch. I think that's a shame because -until the problem started- I used Acrobat with great pleasure.
