why all my pdf files turn to DOC-20230711-WA2001. whenever I share files from WhatsApp to other app, my files are also renamed and extension is changed, and unable to open the files until I manually add .pdf extension to each and every files please help I can't manually rename every app 😢 100s of files

The question does not apply to Photoshop.

Attach files as documents, in this case the original name and extension will be preserved.

"Reset Settings" on your phone to take back the app to its initial settings. See this thread in Acrobat Reader Mobile for details:

As @c.pfaffenbichler and @jazz-y both said, this has nothing to do with Adobe Photoshop.

I tried everything from reinstalling WhatsApp, clear data clear cache reset settings reset app preferences everything

no matter what I do nothing seems to have any affect at all , there must be something else that causing this I tried different pdf app like Microsoft office, WPS,polaris and also different file manager,like Xiaomi, CX , everything possible nothing worked yet

it seems it a issue from WhatsApp end and I tried to contact WhatsApp about this too but again nothing helped

As mentioned in the thread shared by Jane, this is an issue with WhatsApp and not Adobe.

Our team is still investigating the cause. I will keep the thread updated on any progress.

The issue was already highlighted in the previous update, and we are trying to reach out to WhatsApp (Meta) to check if they have made any changes in their system.

Hi @Md Yusuf320201622gdl, As mentioned earlier, we do not have any control over how WhatsApp manages its file-sharing system.

We are trying whatever is possible from our side if we can have more controls here.
