Hi @Roxana5E1C
Hope you are doing well.
You need Mac or Windows or Android or iOS. The Reader is not made for Chromebooks, and because Chromebooks don’t run local apps, it can’t be. A Chromebook is not a full substitute for a computer.
Thank you for highlighting this to us. It's in a future enhancement pipeline. You will get an official announcement as well as a notification when this will roll out.

This is still an issue?! I have been opening and printing PDF's on my chromebook without Acrobat for several years with no problem. Suddenly I couldn't open PDF's in my Chrome Browser. I downloaded Acrobat Reader to my Chromebook and can sometimes open PDF's with it but there is no option to print a document. I can print other things with no problem. I uninstalled it and added the acrobat reader chrome extension and when I try to open a PDF it doesn't use the extension. The extension doesn't help me any either.

Hi @PeggyWest,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with printing files on Chromebook.
When you open a file using the extension, you should get the option to print on the top shortcut toolbar menu (screenshot attached)
If this does not appear on the menu, please share a screen recording of the error with us for further investigation.
Look forward to hearing from you.

No point screen printing for you since the extension doesn't work either. I try to open a PDF file and nothing happens or it opens in Google's Gallery app. No idea how to get a PDF to open in the extension. I removed it. This is just too much aggravation for what should be a simple task.

@PeggyWest When you try to open a PDF directly from a web browser, that is where the extension comes into play.
You can also use the menu options in the browser to Open-> locate the file and open it on the web extension.
Also, printing a file uses the printer settings and has nothing to do with Acrobat.

I'm also having issues printing directly from the Adobe Acrobat app on my Chromebook. I don't see any options to print from the app. Hitting ctrl + P also does nothing. I'm trying to print labels, and when I use any other app/program to print other than Adobe Acrobat, the label scaling is incorrect and they don't print in the center of the labels.

Hi @kasey_6200
Thank you for reaching out! Sorry to hear you're having trouble printing from Adobe Acrobat on your Chromebook.
Currently, the Adobe Acrobat app on Chromebook does not have a native print option, which is why you're not seeing the usual print menu when pressing Ctrl + P. However, I understand the importance of having your labels print correctly, especially when other apps are causing scaling issues.
Please take a look at the steps provided in the similar discssion https://adobe.ly/4dL8tQA and see if that works for you.
