Hello
using acrobat reader app version 23.05.01 on ipad 9 ios 16.5.
the app keeps creating conflict copies when trying to sync with onedrive where the psf is located. (I trying using a reader from another company and do not have the same problem).
besides creating a conflicted copy, 2 out of 3 times it loses one hour or so of comments and hoghlights.
i tried moving the file to my ipad, and to my surprise lost another hour of notes even without syncing issues with external programs.
this issue does not happen right away, the file must be open for around one hour.
apart from that, there should be more freedom to change highlight colors and at least another level of transparency. Why not have the same colors as in the pc version?
maybe it is a bug with 16.5.
if this is solved (the sync and loss of notes) ill gladly change my review on the app
thanks
Pedro

I have this issue since long but I cannot take it anymore.
I am running the latest version of Acrobat in my iPad. The document is not open anywhere else. Acrobat creates several copies of the document marking them as "conflict" and even makes a "conflict of a conflict" version.
When I work for long in a document, it may end up with 10 different copies of the document.
It seems to be an issue that Acrobat has with OneDrive stored documents.
I would appreciate any assistance

Hi there
Hope you are doing well.
This is a know issue, Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Reader Mobile app you are using, tap on the profile icon > About Adobe Acrobat.
Also try updating the Reader mobile app and the OneDrive app from the App Store and reboot the device once and see if that works.

Hi there,
Thanks for checking that, also please confirm that the Onedrive App is also updated to the recent version and see if that helps.

I have been sharing videos and comments about this issue in this thread with the same response for Months now. What can we do to get this resolved in a more timely manner

This is a paid product that is not functioning as design. Please resolve this within the next two weeks. This issue has been going on for too long without a resolution. This is causing multiple files to be made and as such causing it to be difficult to know which is the most up-to-date file

What happens on saving files from other apps, such as Google Drive or Dropbox, to your OneDrive account, or when attempting to duplicate files within OneDrive, do you encounter the same or similar issues?

Hello @Amal.
Okey, at first I was confused, but I think I understand your question now. I just saved a pdf from my Google Drive to my Onedrive via the "Send a Copy" functionality. That worked fine. Then, I repeated the process and my Onedrive now contains 2 Files: "filename.pdf" and "filename 1.pdf".
Is there a fix for this or are you saying that this is just how Onedrive works on iPad? Because that makes Acrobat Reader useless, as I absolutely need to be able to use files from Onedrive. Essentially it would mean that I would have to use the Onedrive's built-in pdf-reader instead.

This is taking way to long to resolve and the continued response of letting someone else know, is not helpful. What is the ETA to get this resolved. This is a paid product that needs to function as advertised.

This does not seem to be an accurate statement. This has been said multiple times. When can we expect this to be resolved. Again this is a product that we pay for and it is not working as advertised for over a year.

I hope this message finds you well. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. While we don’t have a confirmed timeline for a resolution just yet, please rest assured that our engineering team is actively working on it. As soon as we have any updates, I will be sure to share them with you right away.
Thank you so much for your understanding and patience during this time. We truly appreciate your support.

Please escalate this and post an ETA. The continued comments of "sorry someone is working on it" for over a year are not helpful and do not seem to reflect what is actually happening. This should be a simple fix. I should not have 10+ documents created and worry about which one has my latest changes.

I have the exact same issue. A new conflict file is created whenever I make any changes to a pdf in Onedrive. It is quite maddening tbh and obviously this has been an issue for over a year.
