Trouble opening PDF file on iphone 11 (winmail.dat file)

I am having trouble receiving/opening PDF files on my iphone 11. on my office computer the PDF files open properly. on my phone the same file appears as winmail.dat (not a PDF) and cannot be opened. How do I resolve this issue?

This is an issue with your email application or server (or those of the person sending the email to you). It's not really related to any Adobe software.

This is a common issue with Microsoft mail settings from the sender.

If you do a web search for "winmail.dat Outlook settings", you will find the cause and solution.
