I am trying to open a PDF from an armypubs.army.mil

The first error I get is "The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. Etc" (attachment 1)IMG_0871.jpeg

I did a work around on a windows computer to save it. Sent to my email to try and open on my iPad and I get the error of "This form requires Acrobat Reader DC for Mac or Windows" (attachment 2)

Hi @ChadCole907,

Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!

The error you see is because of the file type. Dynamic forms or XFA files are not supported on the mobile version of Acrobat and they require the desktop version of either Acrobat Pro DC or Acrobat Reader to view.

Hello @S. S,

Thank you for the response. Is there anything in the works for those types of forms being able to be worked on in the mobile apps?

Since most cell phones now a days and tablets are becoming more popular and easier to use versus be at a desk or pulling out a laptop.

Thank you!

Foxit for iPad claims to be able to work with XFA (Dynamic) PDFs. I have some advanced XFAs that it would not work with, but that's been a while ago. It might be worth downloading the Foxit demo to see if it will open your file.

Hi @ChadCole907 @Kamal ram34679450baxw @georgew42079760,

Would you mind sharing a sample file with us? The team is already working on getting the feature to open XFA files on Reader Mobile.

Getting an additional file would help us greatly in expediting the ticket.

Look forward to hearing from you.
