New Here ,

Compared to apple which you can rename a file and also make a new folder, you cannot do that to Android? Am I missing something?

Hi DARWIN5FE8,

Hope you are doing well.

Thank you for posting your query here. Could you help me with few details to understand your issue better?

  1. OS version and application version?
  2. Make and model of your device?

To rename a file:

  • From any file list, including Home, Files, and a list of search results:

    1. Tap three dots...

    2. Tap

    3. Enter a name.

    4. Tap Rename.

For more help refer to: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/android/en/managefilesfolders.html#rename-files

Let us know how it works at your end. If you have any further queries please feel free to reach.

Regards

Ria

@Ebony31226482oytt

The directions are the same for iOS as they are for Android (the original question). Here is the link:

Can you show a screenshot of what you are seeing, including the name you are trying to use? Possibly you have an illegal character and need to change the name slightly.

Hi @Ebony31226482oytt,

Adding to the info shared by Jane, you can also rename the files you want to by going to the files app.

Click on the Browser section-> Acrobat (Adobe Cloud Storage)-> hold down on the file-> on the menu that comes up, click on rename (screenshot attached).
