Video won't play in Acrobat on iPad

I have used Rich Media to add videos in a PDF. It works well on my desktop computer but when opened on an iPad (which is required for final use) the poster remains but the videos won't play.

I have tried different Apps (eg PDF Expert - videos play but the fonts get subsituted, Books - button links work but no video). I have also tried adding the video in InDesign but that still doesn't work.

Any advice would be very welcome!

Rich Media in PDF requires the Flash Player plugin with has been discontinued in 2020. The feature is almost dead, especially on mobilde devices, I'm afraid.
