All PDF documents I open in Acrobat reader on my phone, have dark background.
They are very hard to read.
I can't find a setting to change the background to be like a standard document with white background.

Hi @Brad Corey
As you have mentioned that all the documents are having a black background, it could be because the night mode is on. You can turn it off from the 2nd option at the top when you open a PDF.
let us know if that helps.
Thanks,
Harsh

Hi Harsh,
I am having this same problem. I'm using Android 13 on Galaxy A51 4G. I'm using the Acrobat for Samsung [Free User Account]. Every PDF Document I save has the black background. The solution that worked for the original poster doesn't work for me. There is no night mode option.

Sorry to hear about your experience.
Would you mind trying the steps mentioned here: Accessibility — Acrobat for Android Help
This should help you eliminate the black background that has been paining you.

THE SIMPLEST answer is to OPEN up Edit PDF > Preferences again and uncheck the Replace Document Colors box to remove the setting.
Hope this helps anyone stuck! .
