Change document name when sending for signature

New Here ,
Apr 04, 2018 Apr 04, 2018

I use templates from my document library and would like the signed document to be renamed. Ie, the template might be called "New client agreement" and I would like the signed document saved with the client's name, :"Doe, John New client agreement."  Is this possible?

When sending the file, just change the Agreement Name (top field in the message section).  The signed doc will automatically return with that name.

Hello AKDawson,

What about when sending using MegaSign (1 document to many people) . How can I receive each document with the name of the person who siggned in the document title?
Ex:

Send: "Security Policy"

Receive back: "Security Policy - User1_FirstName User1_LastName - signed

Receive back: "Security Policy - User2_FirstName User2_LastName - signed

etc etc.

Thank you

MegaSign (now Send in BUlk or Bulk Send) does not allow for seperate names. Use the gigasign tool instead:

And what if I don't want the name of the signed doc to change? Is there any way to prevent the signed document(s) from taking the Agreement name?

yes, but you need to ontact support to get this change so the filenames stay the same as the uploaded files.

Hello! This does not seem to work anymore. Has anyone figured out how to do this more recently?

Hi Melanie0D4C,

Thank you for reaching out.

It seems that you are using the new Acrobat Sign experience to send the document. The option is still there to change the agreement name. Please refer to the screenshot below.

Let us know if you do not see the option on your end.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
