Question

Different files names in agreement with multiple files

I send multiple agreements in one envelope. The agreements are signed by the same group of people.  Each document in the envelope is an agreement. For simplicy I send all agreements in one envelope.

I noticed that all individual files names are changed, upon execution.

How do I keep the original file name for each document?

Hello,

Everything changes to the name of the agreement, to the subject title of the transaction you send, the truth is that I have not seen how to make each file with its name.

We are experiencing the same issue. We have an envelope of 10 onboarding documents, 8 of which need to be signed and returned. When they are returned, the original file name is striped away and all documents are renamed to the name of the Envelope following by Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. This is not efficient for us as we name all of our employee files then download them to their personnel e-file. Now, we have to re-open them, read which document they are, re-name them, and file them in their e-file. Why would Adobe do this? Is there a setting in the workflow that needs to be changed? Is there a bug in the system? DocuSign does not do this.  What are we do to do keep the original file name? What is the fix?  Thank you.

Hi Grisel!

Thank you for reaching out.

As you have mentioned above, the individual file name changes after the documents are signed.

Could you please let us know the changes that occur in the file's name?

Thanks,

Meenakshi

We are getting the same behavior.

I try sending three PDFs, then the executed versions all inherit the name of the first one:

How can we keep the original file names intact?

Thanks.
