The space in my template is currently set up to allow 2 rows of text at an 8 font. If I select multi-line text box it opens it up for more than 2 rows, therefore cutting off a third row of text if someone were to type that much in. Is there a setting that would allow me to set the character limit or row limit to only allow the 2 rows?
To that end, is there any character limit on a single line text field?
Hi Stephanies,
In Adobe Sign, there is no direct option to limit the number of lines in multi-line data entry.
However, you may try using the text tags to limit the character in the field.
Refer to this thread Character amount limits in text fields in Adobe Sign with a similar query.

Hope that helps.

In Acrobat desktop application you can limit the number of characters in a form field. I don’t try to build my forms in the Adobe Sign application. If I get the chance I’ll look but I am on my iPad at the moment.
