Hi Everyone. I'm designing a form (it's pretty much ready) but I'm having a problem setting up the signature requirements. For legal reasons, I'm being asked that the file needs to request an actual signature and not just a typed signature. PDFs used to be able to do this, however now, when I'm inserting the signature field, and click on preview, the option I get is to simply TYPE a signature, which is not what my client wants. I'm not getting a prompt to insert a digital signature. What am I missing here? How do I do this?
I cannot use the "request signatures" option because this document will be uploaded to our website for our members to download from their user profiles. The idea is for them to be able to access it, fill in the form and then sign it to lock in the form.
