Need to autofill date field when signature block is signed.

I have a form with two signers, each with their own seperate signature blocks and date fields. There is a need to populate a signer's respective date field with the current date at signing. This is primarily to force the date into a specific format, as well as preventing entry error, i.e. - a date prior to current date.  Is this possible?
