Hi,

I'm trying to send out a PDF for signing but I am getting to 72% in the app when I click to specify where to sign. When I try via the https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/?dropinId=verb-sendforsignature link I get "Contact administrator".

Our administrator is on holdiay (and is no more of an expert on this than I am, so I don't expect will be masses of help when she returns).

Any idea what is going on/is it something I can fix? I was successfull in sending out for sigs a few weeks ago.

Thanks,

J

No sadly not (but thanks for the help). Both the "right answers" on that thread centre on issues with the local software not talking to Adobe properly (the first is about linking the software and the second about synching across devices). The guidance given by the Adobe employee in that thread (to try doing it via the Adobe site first) is what I followed, and what failed, as mentioned in my first post.

When I try to use https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/

The intro says "Your Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription includes all PDF tools and premium e-signing tools."

But as soon as I click "Request e-signatures" I get:

"Contact your administrator

Please contact your administrator to access this feature."

My administrator is back tomorrow but whether she will have any idea where to start or not I do not know. She's not an IT adminstrator. But I have an employment contract to send out to someone and it's already late, so I am trying to not just leave it until tomorrow to find my colleague has no more of an idea than I do.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Well I tried that, spend 10 mins getting through to someone who then tried to put me through to someone to do with Adobe sign.

We (at some length) established that my regular Adobe username and password did not work on the Adobe Sign website and nor did using an Adobe ID, so I was told I would need to speak to a third person who looks after the back end and could resolve my query quickly.

So I got put through to someone else (some 20 mins after starting the process) at 16:55 - and I can only assume that they knocked off at 17:00 becuase shortly after telling me they were pulling up my account the chat was ended.

I then attempted to reset my password on the Adobe Sign site (and aligned it with my main Adobe login), hoping that might resolve it. But it didn't.

And trying to send via https://secure.na1.adobesign.com/public/compose gives me:

"You cannot send new agreements because you don't have sufficient transactions available in your account. Please contact your administrator."

Well it was a painful process involving being disconnected a few times, but in the end I got someone who remote came into my computer and fixed it. It was something to do with there being two profiles/accounts associated with my email address (whcih is a work emial) - a personal and a work profile. Somehow the two were getting confused.

I asked for my personal profile to be deleted - I don't need it, and I don't need this happening again - but was told that is not possible. Anyway I have successfully sent a file for signing so with any luck this fix will stick.

Thanks for the guidance.
